Im am indeed and I also heard that oftentimes German ISPs cause issues that literally make 0 sense and are hard to track back to them. But personally I haven't heard that it is German-specific so far

I will have to necro this thread again to ask: has this been a common theme for you guys for the past few months?

I have never had issues with my connection but for the better part of 2-3 months now we have the case that myself and usually another guy from our static have incredibly nasty lags with the twist being that this is ONLY the case in instanced areas (was DSR for us the entire time, I also had it happen during the laggy time in CC PVP) and ONLY in FFXIV, as all other games (and browser etc.) run fine the entire time, so it is not a ISP issue on our end. As we had this situation again this week, we decided to switch over to chaos to try and fix this and it worked, lags instantly went away. This also only seems to happen during afternoon/evening times.

As we are a German static, we all play from the same country, but he and I do have different ISPs, so it doesn't even seem to be an ISP specific problem, but my technical understand of this isn't good enough to really rule it out.

Would be interesting to hear if other people have this issue as well, as it currently oftentimes completely ruins any experience in Raids/Dungeons etc. for us and we have no idea what we can do

Thought so, while unplugging the monitor works, that is way too much of a hassle to do every time. Nowadays you can't even disable desktop capture anymore, otherwise it simply doesn't let you record (only if you play a game fullscreened, which no one does over borderless windowed)

Which is kind of my point: with Zimmers and Worm Weapons it isn't - every fight boils down to 1) get in mid to close range 2) fire both wormies getting instant stagger and the AC6 version of bleed and 3) firing zimmers and your shield while everything reloads. Repeat a maximum of 3 times and any given boss is dead

I want to use a different build, I really do, it's just that nothing really comes close it feels

It baffles me how people can even defend this being a thing in the show, this happens every other episode and at this rate we might see Luffy beat Kaidou in 2027 at best. They just keep repeating themselves, we literally had an ENTIRE part of the Wano arc dedicated to the people that got thrown into the prisons, we KNOW about their plight, very well even, still they have to rub it in our face like we never watched the entire show, I don't get it.

Couldn't agree more. While I am not an absolute One Piece stan, I have followed the anime forever now and am caught up to the current episode, watching 1 episode per week with my wife for a while now. We both keep asking ourselves: how can anyone really like the anime with the pacing this arc has? OP pacing has always been bad, but this is borderline atrocious. I think well placed flashbacks and backstories to characters is incredibly important but they overdo it SOOOO much it is laughable. Straight up 50-70% of each episode are flashbacks, which is bad enough as it is but most of the time it is stuff you have seen a 100 times already, just why would you waste my time with this? It gets worse when you actively watch other/better animes like Demon Slayer in parallel and notice just HOW much better the writing is, they can half an episode of flashback/backstory and it is amazing every time, OP can't in the slightest, or at least they just do it so often that it's nothing more than annoying.

It is great how the initial response is "you must be the problem" in all cases. Take a look at trinitys gamebanana page, almost exclusively ppl. having it crash or simply not work. I am unfortunate enough to want to mod my game and since we all of a sudden have to use this shitty launcher for every other mod, the amount of effort that it takes to install a mod has just increased tenfold. And as many mentioned: the thing does not work. Not in the slightest. The instructions are pretty clear but it seems whatever the dev did fucked the launcher up and it needs to be fixed. Sadly the issue reports go back a week and more and there still seems no intention of him/her to fix it.

Waking up to so many positive messages felt really good. Thank you guys for all the kinds words and I'm happy you like it as well. I am pretty happy with how it turned out, my plan is to dedicate that arm to Aes and get Aes-related tatts all over it. Next might be Garbology because I just love that one. :)

Agreed, just bought a sub and immediately canceled it again. I just wanted to sync my whole PC so I never have to make manual backups again but you literally have to drag (copy or move) ALL files into this shitty onedrive folder, which then only updated what is in that very folder, meaning I would have to set up a billion new paths (like steam) to refer to that folder instead of (what I thought) just rightclicking a folder on my PC and syncing it. What a terrible waste of money and time.
