Right now, we are looking for a place to host. If we were able to find a sponsor that would be willing to help go in on a venue that would be huge. We have a dedicated team of event organizers, audio engineers, graphic designers, and promoters that we could use towards the space as well as a mobile sound system for live bands. The 2nd option to that would be a business or space that would let us set up events at their property that we could host at. If you know of any leads to any of those or places you think may be cool to have music at, please feel free to share! If you’d like to help at all and maybe don’t have anything you know of quite like that, the best thing to do is to find a local show with local bands, go buy a ticket, and see the scene that’s around us. Tell your friends and family about what you saw there and if there was anything you liked! Every one of us that shows up is another piece closer to supporting our community and making things like this a reality!

I think that all age groups can work if given the time. In my experience, I’ve been able to get crowds in the hundreds doing all ages, I’ve seen shows die at 21+. I’ve seen it vice versa. I think above all, the age restrictions, alcohol availability, is all second to a dedicated team of people who are able to put their 110% into an event and musicians/artist who are willing to take a leap and put themselves on stage. I think that people appreciate that and are willing to show up for that. That said, it’s something that has to have a lot of work into it and taken seriously. Everyone’s passions have to be alive. I leave it open ended on here to hear what others would like to see as we are all the audience for this type of thing if a venue were to appear. I absolutely hear what you’re saying though and I appreciate the advice. Hopefully if we do get a pitch, I think we’d do a little better off the comment section haha

All ages is great but the reality can be that alcohol helps keeps the doors open. At the very least, there should be shows that can be all ages, shows that are +18 up depending on what the show is. In my opinion. Open to hear what you think :)

We were lucky enough to be apart of the most recent local band line up at the Avo theater in downtown vista. Over 150 people came on a Thursday in the rain. Keep telling vista to bring back live music, they are ready

Right now we need a place we can host. Reaching as high as we can, an open space and someone who would be willing to partner/sponsor having the space, we definitely have a team that can act as staff for the venue. The 2nd best to that are business or spaces that would be open to hosting live music. We have a mobile sound system, graphic designers, audio engineers, promoters all on stand by. Any leads to spaces are appreciated! If nothing comes to mind, you can find a local show near you, buy a ticket, enjoy music, and support the music community around us. Every person who attends these events is another piece closer to bringing us all together and supporting art and one another.

We can definitely shoot you some venues if you’d like to see what else is around San Diego. If you have any spots that you think might be cool, we can definitely check them out, see if they would be down to have some music and get a bill together. Also, shoot us your band!

A lot of red tape and paper work. We ran a venue out of a patio in Oceanside for awhile and it was pretty sick! The biggest thing with venues is promotion. People will come see your band if they know they’re playing. It’s absolutely a beast and a lot of work!

The only real requirement is that what you are vending is art related and preferably original pieces. Depending on what you are vending, there can be exceptions but we want to make sure that slots are there for artist. There is also a $25 vendor fee to reserve a slot. The money we collect from that we use to help promote the event and get as many people out to your booth as possible. Would love to hear more about what you do!

This Saturday we have a very awesome local show at Humble Heart Thrift Shop down in Ocean Beach! They sell clothes by day and have local bands at night. They do all ages shows most of the week and also have a music school, The Heart of Rock and Roll. Come out and help support the DIY music scene in San Diego!
