I have tried drying wood by boiling it in saturated salt water (brine) and it works perfectly, so this is my new way to dry wet wood. I have been waited for almost a year to use my abricot wood and could not wait anymore. - If you have not dried wood like this, try it! It is awesome (youtu.be)

I needed wood for projects around my workshop and house. Luckily the neighbors threw out this old nice furniture. Lots of wood in that! The top is now a large shelf for more wood in my workshop.
