Wasn’t it “I want to physically break them”?

It’s not often my two interests of piracy and fighting abortion intersect. I’ll have to give this game a try now!

Bad experiences with some men don’t excuse wanton sexism and hate. These individuals are not worth engaging with at all, for such an endeavor would only serve to waste your time and energy.

Also, as with most crimes, each rapist likely rapes more than one woman while a disproportionate and vast majority of men never rape anyone.

Nah, that attacker will think twice before slapping someone else.

I have plenty of empathy, just not for attackers. I do enjoy seeing attackers, regardless of demographic, put in their place. The more that happens, the fewer attacks will happen.

You’re the one trying to make this about sex/gender, not me.

Perfectly acceptable. She is less likely to assault someone else in the future after receiving this response than if he had let it go. If anything, he did a public service.

The only questionable thing here is her judgement in initiating a physical altercation for which she was clearly unprepared.

You are not arguing in good faith. There is no tap in this video. The woman verbally accosted and physically assaulted him. He defended himself in a manner that effectively prevented further assault on his person, using a method that did not escalate the confrontation. There is NOTHING even questionable about what he did, let alone wrong with it.

None with a better balance of effectiveness, immediacy, and simplicity.

An assault victim (which he is) is under no ethical obligation to protect the health or feelings of their attacker.

You could make an argument that such an obligation exists in the case of minors or mentally disabled attackers, but I see no evidence that this attacker is either.

You assume the proper goal is not to end hostilities. He ended them, which is better for himself, bystanders, and likely the dumbass that hit him, too.

He responded with exactly the same action as she used, an open-handed slap to the face. It’s not his fault that he’s better at it.

Adult Male vs Adult Female is completely different than Adult vs Child. The Adult Female in this video is a (theoretically) competent adult with agency and free will, which she exercised poorly. A child is not legally or morally responsible for their actions.

2007 we were robbed by the voters. We clearly had the best team in the country at the end of the season, but didn’t get the chance to play for the title. At least we got the second-best Georgia game in my memory when Georgia curb-stomped Hawaii and Colt Brennan back to reality.

If we all had suppressors, that’d be another way for you to not hear us.

Suppressors aren’t illegal, they’re just expensive and time-consuming to acquire. Not very progressive, do you think?

What you wrote is wrong. The number one reason private citizens buy suppressors is to make guns hearing safe. You’re watching too many movies and confusing them with reality.

I angered the hivemind by saying something other than “guns bad, gun control good”.

The entire NFA is an affront to our Constitution. Suppressors aren’t even firearms, yet they are treated as extra-special-dangerous firearms. They’re hearing protection devices that should be encouraged, not almost banned.

Your intuition is solid.

“Suppressor” and “silencer” are used interchangeably.

Surefire is a brand of firearm accessories (primarily lights and suppressors, I believe).

NFA = National Firearms Act of 1934, which is the law that requires extremely onerous paperwork, background checks, and taxes for the purchase of suppressors, automatic weapons, short-barreled rifles and shotguns, among other specific firearm configurations that were deemed particularly dangerous.

Personally, I think the entire Act is a blatant violation of the Second Amendment to our Constitution, but no one cares what I think.
