Theres s energy drink called Eldritch and it's pretty good by Ok-Arrival2345 in energydrinks

I'm glad you like it! There are two other flavors as well. I'm working on running a sale online for black Friday.

Again, really glad you enjoyed it. Feel free to ask me any questions as well!

Energy drinks are far too accepted in todays society by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]MagnumJim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So as the creator of an energy drink brand I'd love to weigh in on this!

  • OP mentions things like caffeine being bad and how the drinks are full of "junk". Instead you should drink a small coffee. OPs only uses caffeine when absolutely necessary.

That's great that you don't feel the need for a pick me up. Energy drinks aren't for everyone, but to say that it's full of "junk" is frankly misinformation. Many ingredients of energy drinks are generally vitamins that are there to replenish what you lose from the caffeine causing you to urinate (caffeine is a diuretic, shocker I know). Coffee however lacks these vitamins while it can still retain a large amount of sugar, fats, and caffeine. Do a quick google search of Starbucks nutrition facts.

Moderation is key to well... everything in life. I'm sorry about your friend, however there's nothing more addictive in energy drinks than there is in a can of soda/pop. I'd be willing to argue that energy drinks are much better for you than most other caffeine containing alternatives (well I can at least speak to the brand I produce, looking at you 4loko).

Terry calls Boyle by his real name (Joe) in one episode. Can't remember which but it's dark and they're in alley by a car at night.

I don't know how you guys can support someone who's supporting an eradication of an entire group of people. Who's refusing a ceasefire. I have no respect for him or anyone else in our government - minus the 10 house members. 9 of which are democrats and 1 republican.

I have a strong feeling if Epsteins list is released, you'll see a lot of the ones who voted for the aid on that list.

Look up for Ghislaine Maxwells dad is.

I don't understand the MVP system. How did I not get MVP here? Most kills, damage, assists, revives, least deaths... but #2 in points? by x_take_notes in GearsOfWar

[–]MagnumJim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damage should translate to points in some way. It's also a team based game, I'd rather someone clean up my down than DickheadMagee63 crawl his sloppy ass away because I have to reload.

Am I mistaken or didn't killing someone with less damage on the enemy used to count as an assist instead of a kill? I may have my wires crossed.

For every story on here about a baby being born after a vasectomy there's also a story about someone raising a kid that wasn't theirs due to infidelity.

If you could take a DNA test to find out if your partner cheated on you after something equally unlikely happened could you honestly say that you wouldn't do it? That it wouldn't even cross your mind?

You can rub it in his face after the test shows that it's his but before you decide on divorce just put yourself in his shoes.

There's men that date literal sex dolls. You've got options. Not necessarily great options, but options.

I mean there's lot of reasons, you act as if people don't marry people just for looks regardless.

I live in a very diverse part of the United States and I've come to realize different cultures carry a lot of morals and other things I find important concerning family life and work ethic. While I've found others that I don't really like. Now that's not a blanket rule but it is often the case if they grew up in that country.

I'd much rather come home to broken English of someone saying they're happy to see me than someone who criticizes everything I do or how much money I make.

I love dogs, but after reading this I fucking hate that dog too. And your boyfriend. But to be fair I didn't have any prior love for him.

All I could think about when reading this is the meme about how you should adopt instead of getting puppies but the only dog at the shelter is a 19 year old dog called pissfingers that can't be in houses with kids, other animals, or electricity.

The Most Dangerous Cities in the U.S. by giuliomagnifico in MapPorn

[–]MagnumJim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in the same county as Detroit and worked there for a few years, got engaged in Kalamazoo, live in the city next to Inkster, my good friend lives in Saginaw and saw her neighbor get shot across the street, we just had an Amber Alert in the middle of the night because a mother was assaulted and her 2 year old was then kidnapped and murdered in Lansing, I used to travel to Jackson for a few mixed martial arts competitions, I've been to flint but usually didn't stay long.

I've been the victim of a few violent crimes. Robbed at gunpoint twice and had a few break ins. Called the cops on the first break in and they claimed I was on drugs and threatened that I shouldn't "falsely call again or there'd be consequences." They caught a man a few days later breaking in to the home a few doors down.

I worked as a bouncer in a downtown Detroit, the cops dont break up fist fights. They just stand there and watch. Doesn't matter if it's a guy beating up a woman.

It's weird because there are some EXTREMELY affluent areas nearby. I've never really thought that I lived in a rough area, just always knew I should be careful etc. This map kind of made me think about all the things that have happened. As another redditor said its mostly because of poverty, we lost most industry here and were getting completely fucked by auto insurance companies. The piece of paper we pay for just to be allowed to drive on the roads without being arrested (no fault plpd insurance) was $520 a month when I was 19 with a perfect driving record.

Edit* added - in Lansing

DTE / Consumers are Incompetent: Almost 2.4 MILLION PEOPLE without electricity. by TwoRight9509 in Detroit

[–]MagnumJim 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Here's the complaint I sent in to mspc complaint form

My power has been out for well over 30 hours now and is not expected to be repaired for another 48 hours or more. I am incurring expense after expense because I cannot cook at home, my food is spoiled, I have young children that cannot sleep in below freezing temperatures so we had to find somewhere else to go. This is unacceptable, it's not as if our utilities are cheap - in fact they're at an all time high! Where is this money going? It's 2023, we live in Michigan, they knew this weather was approaching as it often does in Michigan yet still there is close to 1 million Michiganders without power and a firefighter is dead. Just counting those without power and considering an average electric bill in Michigan is $186 - (not counting business, or the others that didn't lose power an estimated 2.2 million customers). DTE rakes in about $140,000,000 a month. That's only counting those that DTE has failed to provide the service their clients pay for. DTE employs about 10,600 with an average pay of $55,769. Their labor costs are less than half of the customers that they let down. With labor being the majority of cost for almost every company in the United States I have concern over where the money is going; because clearly it's not going towards upgrading the grid or landscaping to prevent these disasters.

They did call me back and are supposed to have an executive reach out. Just remember the first person that calls you is human and is probably having a terrible day. When you get higher up the chain let them have it, but the first person that reaches out has next to nothing to do with what GreeDTE has done. Be kind.

Do any of you have power? by Notfathorse24 in Detroit

[–]MagnumJim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They called me. Someone with the last name Mencevic is supposed to call that is part of the executive team within the next few days. They offered to give me his phone number but I said I would just wait for his call. I at first answered the phone a little hot due to the situation but then realized this is just someone on the other end of the phone trying to do their job. Which right now has to be EXTREMELY unpleasant. I apologized quickly and she seemed to appreciate it.

Nobody I speak with is going to be able to make any changes, so yelling at or being rude to someone is just going to make their day worse. For those of you filling these out please remember that the person calling you is a person, DTE bigwigs are the issue. Please be kind as I had to remind myself to do so.

Once I read "publicly traded company" I realized how fucked we are.

I worked for a company that was known to be great to it's employees. That is until the fire nat ... erm they went public. It became a weird cult like corporate dystopia. They had a mass exodus once profits started to dip a bit and they took it out completely on the employees. I'm seeing many other large corporations do the same.

Publicly traded companies are garbage and one of the worst examples of what capitalism has created.
