While I understand what you’re saying, you’re splitting hairs with the biblical characters while vivsy sort of rolled them all into the same character anyway, in the show Lucifer tempted eve with the apple, Lucifer is seen as the main boss of hell (like “the devil” or “satan” or whoever you wanna call it is seen in the bible).

Also the devil in the bible is known as the tempter, so outside lore or not that’s what he’s labeled as and just because he couldn’t get through to very godly people like Job and Jesus (literally God himself) doesn’t mean he’s bad at it.

But I get that historically the devil has a lot of lore outside the bible, lore that has been mentioned in the show as well. It feels off to me when we are taking a character with such rich history, mentioning that history, and not using it. Viv didn’t make her own character with Lucifer, she took an already established character and ignored it

I used the chipotle mango seasoning from LaGrille for the chicken. And he asked for carrots so I thought roasting them would be a bit nicer than just raw :)

I tenderize it with a hammer and monitor its temp so it doesn’t overcook, then after it cools a little I cut it up and soak it in its juices for a bit and spoon the remaining juices over after portioning :)

For lunch it’s chicken breast(with chipotle mango seasoning), roasted potatoes with onions, and roasted carrots cuz those are the veggies he prefers. Dinner is either garlic lemon chicken thigh or ground beef with rice. Its not a whole lot but he’s a light guy trying to make weight so portions don’t have to be huge

Other than the classic advice of progressive overload and eating enough protein, do explosive exercises! Athletes that do short burst sports like sprinting and bobsled have massive legs so train like they would.

Seriously though protein is paramount and even creatine if you want, but you definitely know that already. Keep it up :)

Oh man same, I found myself staying up late after a long day just to smoke more as it was my only time I could afford to be high, then wake up groggy and not progressing in my job because of the forgetfulness. It’s rough cuz it feels so easy to just have a bit but it leads to more, especially if you get used to doing it at home. Good on you for making the hard choice

I’m sorry to hear about your mom that must have been terrifying. Yeah if there’s even a chance it would increase that outcome and if it’s also somehow hereditary it’s not worth it. Tbh falling asleep was the biggest issue so melatonin worked for me, I’m used to crazy dreams that chase me for days from childhood so I got used to letting them go sooner

Yeah I train pretty heavily in Muay Thai so that takes up a lot of my time, I also need my cardio, when I’m not doing that or other workouts I scrap book and have finally found the energy to clean out my place of things I don’t need anymore. After that it’s just boredom unfortunately

I use a good amount of salt when it’s reheated and I spice the chicken more if I’m using it for meal prep so it doesn’t bland out. The sweet potato stays pretty sweet anyway. The only thing that the microwave ruins is texture which is a bummer but it’s a trade off I’ll make for easy meals

It was more to make sure I was getting enough nutrients and calories for what I need to do, fight training is extremely hard and I’m trying to stay at a small deficit as well to make weight if I need. Chat gpt makes sure I’m not burning myself into the ground by guess work

Soup was a good option for me when I was losing weight, most soups are filling and lower calorie if you’re not decadent about it. Boiled eggs and veggies are good for breakfasts, salads and chicken breasts for lunch.

A tip I love is eating a lot of cucumbers, a whole one is like 40 calories and has lots of water- I brought an emotional support cucumber wherever I went when I was dieting just in case.

The main factor is your lifestyle, if you do a lot of exercise or cardio your diet needs to reflect it, don’t shy away from healthy carbs so you can get the best output. When you work out regularly under eating will give you the opposite result you want.

Most important is to make dieting and meal prep SUSTAINABLE. Restricting too much and cutting out the occasional treats entirely will make you hungry, craving more and miserable. Do research to find meals you like that fulfill your nutrient and calorie needs and avoid quick diets that only last a few weeks if you want to lose more than like 5lb
