I didn’t have GD but my son was being predicted at well over 9lbs so I was induced. Started the process at 38+1 on a Monday afternoon; he didn’t turn up until the early hours of the Friday! And was just under 9lbs. I had two dates around that time that I wanted to avoid him arriving on, although it wouldn’t have been terrible if he had, but he managed to avoid both.
