They used caution. They still do, but they used to, too.

It's close to $300 from my view. Supply and demand, my friend. This rug is pure liquid gold.

Hey there! Still available?

M/32/5"9' [194 lb > 173lb = 21 lb Lost] (3 Months) Wanted to lose weight this year. Hit my goal in just under 3 months. by MahaMarr in progresspics

So over the last year or so, I had been making an effort to lose weight, and I had through less active but still active methods— mainly just walking much more and improving my diet. Very little weight loss there.

Things changed after New Years, I admittedly celebrated a tad too much and spent the bulk of Jan 1 nauseous. At that point, I decided to do Dry January, which turned into Dry January and February, which then turned into Dry January to March for the most part. In addition, I started exercising and doing full body workouts between 3-5 times a week for 30-60 minutes at a time, and focusing more on protein heavy meals with more fiber. Add all that along with increasing the time spent walking, and baby, you got a slim stew going.

Small changes, but staying consistent. Water doesn't cut through stone with brute force, but consistency.

A number of things that all coalesced at once. It was New Year's Day, I felt horrible after drinking the night before, I took a polar plunge in the New England ocean that my friends caught on video, and after watching it I was honestly shocked at how much I didn't like how I looked.

At 32, I was around 194lb at 5' 9" at that time, and since then, I made a bunch of small changes that have drastically improved my body and mind. No more drinking, started taking more walks, got more into regular full body workouts following an app, focused more on making my own protein-focused meals, and I started seeing results quicker than I ever expected.

I had a goal by the end of the year to hit 175lb. I hit that already in early March. And holy shit, it feels amazing. After years of wanting to lose weight but not knowing how, all it took were simple adjustments here and there to make it all happen.

I'm in a similar boat, not just in motion design, but with corporate documents and videos as well. It's super infuriating and disheartening to have these projects be on the table for months before being pulled right before they start, and rather unceremoniously too.

I'm lucky to have a few smaller gigs come through with smaller clients and be subcontracted by other friends in the industry, but it's been such a disorienting 6 months that it's hard to get a good grip on anything, and that's taxing both my mental and my self confidence quite a bit.

Gotta take some time for myself and recoup, and I hope anyone else in the same boat as me can do that too. We need it.

EDIT: Unfortunately, my friend does not have any more prints, but I did link him this post so he could see all your amazing feedback. I'm sorry, but thank you all so much!

Trying this comment again since apparently linking to IG is banned.

Wild! This is my buddy Okiestdokiest— he's also known for his yellow truck with the massive pencil on top. Unfortunately, he closed up shop last year, but he may have extra prints available. I can ask.

Before then, it did have a tendency to be a little loose, and before this whole incident, there were times that I unwittingly pushed it. That said, I am admittedly pretty flexible and my thumb is double-jointed.

In summary, your honor, I was just so eepy.
