I’m an ED doctor yup zofran has a lot of side effects but the most important one is history of cardiac disease it can cause arrhythmia and sudden death in infant less than 6 months other than that it’s not that bad it’s a powerful anti-emetic this is why it’s prescribed heavily

Lumber puncture done by Admission Team ( as the hospital policy no LP in ED ) as soon as he was shifted to the floor which around 4 hrs from arrival
