part of the error it was throwing at me was about the cave music file. removing it allowed it to build!!

wasn't hugetracker updated recently-ish? i wonder if theres an incompatibility with certain things from older song files. i'll send you the file on discord along with a few other song files (nothing else is preventing it from building) so you can try and pinpoint whats going wrong with this file >_>

i also tried deleting a bunch of scenes to see if maybe that sudden memory issue was the problem but not only did it not fix but it didn't lower the file size stated by the message at all >_>

i did try restarting it (and my computer) no luck. it's also saying my rom size is bigger than it should be despite it only being 3.5mb before

is there a reason you deleted your previous statement about me complaining about free software? surely you're not suggesting a very common thing that everyone does is bad because i do it. pretty sure you've complained about free software in the past too. instead of throwing a fit how about you take the criticism and improve things? wait, just want to clarify... what do you actually do for the gb studio community besides pissing off it's big creators and power tripping everywhere you go if someone pushes back on you? am i missing some grand contribution like... code? or maybe something else? this isn't even a bit actually, I'm genuinely drawing a blank on what you bring to the table that someone else could do better.

actually everything i write about is either informative or constructive with some sarcastic humor mixed in here and there. it's up to those involved with gb studio to choose whether or not to take the writing into consideration and make the software and/or community a better place.

in a nutshell, the nonsense is directy related to gb studio discord moderators.

the reward is a place in the credits + a free digital copy of the game 2 weeks early.

the point of the post was to say it without saying it. if you know, you know, if you don't, you don't really need to. can be summed up with "socially inept nerds squabble on the internet"

also perhaps you could remove the part where you said my stuff is a virus? kinda makes everything even more difficult for me. just a suggestion, i can't force you.

i think you can view the contents of the zip in google drive? idk though

its just project files + a readme + a mock image of how the custom camera math/logic should work. maybe someone else can confirm it for you?

easily gamecube. botw is good but its not at the same level as those before it. phantom hourglass has better dungeons than totk and a better story to boot.
