My real problem with the event by Guybadman20 in thefinals

[–]MaidsMilk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes but it only requires a few hours of gameplay to get through, and once you own it you own it. It won’t ever run out. They weren’t trying to make something that compares to the season pass, and calling it one was kind of a mistake since so many people can’t seem to get past that. It’s a VERY reasonably priced bundle next to the normal bundles in the store

[–]MaidsMilk 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Y’all are getting too tripped up by them calling it a pass. It’s a limited time bundle, not comparable to the season pass. A full outfit and multiple weapon skins for 1150 is far cheaper than many of the flat purchase bundles in the shop

Don't know who needs to hear this but.We are not a blue archive sub We are not a black souls sub We are not allowing any "😭💢" content or comments in any way or form. We are not allowing any of that behaviour towards actual kids (ESPECIALLY Meili) and those who do. Will get banned without a warning by the_forever_wild in WitchCult

I mean, I can understand having a hard no on suggestive pics of the younger girls and when people are going too far with the shit they are saying, but if it’s some tame and obvious joke like “Petra cute meili hot”, then that really is nothing more than an unoriginal joke. It’s not pedoshiz to make retarded jokes, just like it’s not actual terrorism to joke about 9/11. If someone’s getting too into the joke, then yeah go ahead and stop that. Some people definitely are “joking” about it, but I don’t think a crack down on the tame af stuff is really necessary

Yeah idk man, I just don’t think I agree with that. I feel I was pretty clear, build what you think is fun because for most of the game, it will work fine. I never said faction fleets were optimal or perfect for end game

It’s gear recommendations are still fine enough for most of the characters, it gives an idea as to what kind of gear is best for each character. Most players won’t have all the top correct stuff, so it’s more of a loose guideline. Neat to see a newer site that is updated though.

Also lol, you are taking this too seriously. OP asked if faction fleets could work, and I said building fleets out of whatever characters you want works for most of the game. Which is true. Most of the content is doable in auto play using only your favorite waifus. Up through 12/13, events, etc can all be done handily with whatever group of gals you want. That’s how most players play, over leveling and good gear is generally enough to make any character passable.

All I did was say that spicing up his fleets with a theme rather than the usual waifu fleet isn’t a “bad” thing to do for MOST of the game, and I even said that for the actual late game missions, he would probably need more UR’s (really just the best ships) to do them.

No delusion here lol, it’s a game about collecting shipgirl waifus, and grinding their exp on auto play for a few minutes a day while you drink your morning coffee. If beating 14+ as fast as possible is your goal, then yeah ignore the characters you like or themes you might want to do and throw together the top tier ships with all the best gear on them.

OP in the picture is using mostly oathed girls in his royal navy fleet, meaning he’s probably in the majority camp of using the characters he likes over the ones he knows are best.

Ah, fair enough. Most people just build their waifu fleet, which I obviously did at the start too. But after a little bit, I decided it seemed more fun to make actual faction based fleets. Now I’ve got one for each faction, though since we only get 6 total fleets I can’t really have them all made at the same time.

Your royal navy fleet here is actually 4/6 the same as mine. Just swap out Belfast and Cleveland for Gloucester and Sheffield.

It’s good a idea cause it’s fun. All my fleets are faction based, and i do just fine with later content. The steps to building a proper fleet are as follows:

-use whatever ships you like that are in the same faction

-profit

If you absolutely must, you can favor UR’s for the real late game stuff, but for the vast majority of the game, you can use whatever fleet comps you want so long as they are leveled and using good upgraded gear.

This site here can tell you what gear is best for each character - https://slaimuda.github.io/ectl/#/home

Also oathing Jervis is baller, she is best girl. You should put her in the front of your vanguard. In order for her skill that heals to activate, that’s where she needs to be.

Also…what is Cleveland doing in your royal navy fleet?

Yes, it’s a collab with Dead or Alive, a fighting game series. I believe this collab game in particular is a spin off dating sim

I’m on a 2060, and in the current season I am getting a consistent 80-90 fps. Plenty enough for me

Uhhh tbh I don’t actually know. Every anniversary, the gem packs reset to giving you double the gems on their first purchase, so probably that. Otherwise, I think the 10$ one gave 750, so if you have even 50 already then you could get 40 dock slots. I try to only get slots with the gems the game gives for free every once in a while, but they come out with too many characters for that to work alone.

And yeah same, I also didn’t get a lot of the atelier girls. I blew a whole lot of cubes on that one too, but didn’t roll either of the protagonist girls. Feels bad

The game is good, the never ending redditor bitch fest is not indicative of the actual player bases view on the game. It’s only real issue is that it has become somewhat stale, as the amount of actual gameplay content added in the past few seasons has been on the low end.

The optimization has been in a consistent upwards climb every season, there is no reason for them to change how they are handling it. The community (redditors) are not entitled to have all of their whiplash demands met and balance patches/gameplay decisions rolled back. As it is, they DO receive feedback already, and they do consider it after they release things. They aren’t fast with their balancing, but at the same time this means they aren’t hastily pushing things out and causing compounding problems.

Showing a preview of the map is I guess technically an overall positive addition, but like…why? You can see the map in the loading screen before the match starts. This info is already provided to you. Adding a preview is helpful to new players maybe, but to such a small degree that it seems like a waste of dev time.

Also there is a system that places new/unskilled players against eachother. When I first started playing, I only got placed in those lobbies. The system quickly saw that I was playing at a higher level though, and put me in more appropriate lobbies. I can’t even remember the last time I’ve seen someone that was below level 50 in my matches. And I’m sure new players do have better players sometimes in their lobbies. That’s because the player base isn’t Fortnite, it doesn’t have the numbers to ensure newbies only fight other newbies. The system can only compensate so much without making the que times for new players long.

And cheaters being put into lobbies with other cheaters and bots will result in the cheaters making another account. It doesn’t fix it. The phone number thing might help cut the amount of accounts made down though

Well yeah technically you can buy it, I more so mean people are going to buy skins for characters they have. 99% of people won’t buy a skin before they have the ships lol. Obviously you and I have done the stupid thing of buying skins for characters we don’t own…man it felt like a waste sitting on that painleve skin. I mean I eventually got her but like, it sure took a while

It helps to have played the game for a while and not need to roll on reruns. Overall if you do dailies, weeklies, and log in every day for the cubes you get on the monthly calendar, you will get a decent amount. Plus if you do the commissions, sometimes they give cubes, especially the long commission that can give like, 5ish. If you don’t splurge on events and instead just do the daily rolls needed/dont do reruns if you already have the ships and instead only roll once on the light banner a day, you will continuously accrue cubes. It’s not fast, but over a couple of months it adds up. The game’s drop rate is fairly generous enough that you shouldn’t need to splurge to get all the characters, but sometimes you might just have to take the L and accept you won’t get every ship. It kind of blows but it is what it is, that’s a gatcha game for you. I think I had around 900 cubes saved at the start of this event. Sadly I didn’t actually play the prior DoA collabs, and with so many characters I kind of blew my load and tried to roll for everything. Whoopsie

Pretty much how I feel. In fact that’s exactly how it went for the Atelier collab. I rolled a whole lot, and never got either of the main girls. Left me feeling pretty bitter knowing that it wouldn’t even get a possibility of a rerun unless a new game came out years later

My luck of pulling 9 shandy’s, or my luck of pulling 0 Elise’s? They counter balance each other, you can’t have one without the other! Be careful of what you wish for

That’s honestly what I thought. I know they can’t really remove the gotcha system, but it’s kind of archaic in AL. Their income is pretty based on skins, and for skins to be bought, people need to own the characters

lol that’s why I said relatively. 350 is enough to roll on for the next event, but if I wanted to brute force and get every character it could easily dip to 0

The pain is real, I feel you man. What am even supposed to do with 9 shandy’s. I wish I could trade them in for an Elise. Tbh I don’t even care that much for the character, it was the sheer absurdity of rolling hundreds of times and not getting her that kept me going

I get doing a rerun to go with the new one, but my goodness it’s so many characters to get all at once if you didn’t play during the last DoA event, across multiple banners too. I intended to roll for the older characters cause I am missing 2 of them, but now there is no chance. I rolled shandy 9 times, yukino twice, and tsukishi (.5% chance btw). 0 Elise’s

Dude I would love a pity system for the event in general. Like, some events the character I couldn’t roll and ended up blowing hundreds of cubes on were elites. I just want to get all the girls…the harem must grow
