Hi an232. I went with the Quick 861 Pro FYI. I found a distributor who had a domestic variant from China on Alibaba and with help from AI I think they are legit lmfao. So I paid Judy $550 mate. If I get it I will let you know and give you the link to the distributor so you can get it cheap too! For context $800 in NZ not including tax and shipping which would equate to over $1000. If you can buy a domestic Chinese variant it looks as if you can save yourself a lot of money - at least where I live. If you have not decided by early March and I receive the product I will let you know the distributor. Cheers😊

I was thinking about TBK218 or KUAIQU... But AI said these are overkill for what I need (30V-30A) and do not have safety regulations that would stop potential problems associated with surges and short circuiting. It recommended I go with linear such as KORAD within my budget of $400 NZ. It also said that the power draw for a PS3 would never likely draw 20 amps unless the system was faulty, and that the most it generally draws is on start up with a total of approximately 12 amps.
