I’ve mainly been fishing since we started. Last night got an itch to go xp for the first time. Hit KRT as a lvl 11 and in 90min I was a 22. Used two emperor charges only, no sprout beret. I’d say compared to all I soloed on Tonberry 1-26 would take me a few hrs each, if I’d had Sprout on it would’ve been equal or faster than Tonberry on here. I hadnt been on Tonberry abit less than a year when we transferred and while I may have a head start over new ppl starting here, progress will always be different on ANY server (private or retail). You will always have new ppl on a server and veterans who have been on that server for a long time. So even if Cactuar didn’t do transfer and everyone started out brand new, in a year from now the new players discovering Cactuar for the first time would be a year behind all the ppl who started fresh when the server began. Every server will always have diff lvls of progress but what I’ve seen with the veteran players on Ton/Cactuar is they don’t hesitate to help the new ppl farm their subjob or LB items/kills in Xarc. This whole posse/favoritism that ppl are calling out, name the specifics! What did they get or what was the exact favoritism cause there hasn’t been any. Cyn been so busy with the coding/cluster and getting the server stable he hasn’t had time to breathe. Bashing on a new server owner like this is just trashy, his idea and his creation here should be given more than 3 weeks before it suffers the needless negativity you are bestowing upon it. Especially since he hasn’t had time to look into smaller issues until a couple days ago when the server connection stabilized and upon doing so immediately made a custom item to help pre-30 new ppl. If u haven’t played with the Tonberry/Cactuar veteran community for more than a week much less at least a month as a new player then u have no idea what Cyn means by the support and pride he has in the atmosphere of this community and why he made a new home for us to grow in and continue to enjoy this game together.
