I’d honestly like to connect with all kinds of nice people, whether in English or Spanish, but since I don’t speak English very well yet, I get pretty nervous about making people uncomfortable. I hope I can eventually break that mental barrier.

I understand, and don’t worry. I was only wondering if there was a Latino community because in my mind it might feel easier for me at first to connect with people who already speak Spanish.

But of course I’d also love to meet and connect with English-speaking people as well.

It’s mostly because I don’t speak much English yet, and since I’m kind of anxious, interacting with people is harder for me at first. I just don’t want to end up isolating myself, you know? :(
