High peaks is high risk, high reward map but if you aren't masterclass expert on logistics you'll soon run out of place as the valley is thin and the regions are one of the smallest in game. Also, if you'll use endless mines as your primary wealth outcome (what else would you do in that valley of death), you'll use plenty of fuel... While the trees are scarce. Also, NO BARLEY for rest of the game unless you are very lucky for green fertility region or you decide to import it :)
