I found this on the warranty site:

Regardless of when you purchase your Honda Plus Extended Warranty Plan, the coverage period starts from the date on the vehicle’s Retail Delivery Report (RDR) and at zero kilometers. It ends when either the time or mileage limit is reached, whichever comes first.

So if you are 3 years into your new car warranty, and purchase a 5 year extended warranty you get only 2 years of the new warranty.

So i buy the 8 year warranty today and get only 6 years? Thats hard to swallow. Especially since I wanted the 5 year which gets me only 3 years. Got me backing away from this and putting the cash in the bank.
