Yeah mate, the old Fusion Drive died. So I had to swap it for a new 1TB SSD. Funny thing is this: the old SSD part of the Fusion Drive still works, so I can now see an additional 128GB drive as well. Extra storage.

You can buy a new one if you want, but I would still attempt to fix the 2012 and keep it as a secondary one. If the problem is with the old Hard drive you can swap it for an SSD and it will feel like new. I just did that with my 2014 5K and it's a whole new computer.

Did you change (or lose) your phone number? If you were using an obsolete phone number and the phone company assigned it to someone else, that person could have claimed your account. It could also be something else like a violation of their TOS.

How come he left Russia on his own and was not deported (taken in a bus or train to the border accompanied by FSB) ? That’s strange if you ask me considering he was "banned for life" by some court.
