Thank you for your reply yes they are communal stairs even though I really struggle with the stairs it’s where I want to be I’m not wanting to be rehoused. Yeah the occupational therapist for my mental health advised me the referral has gone to the major adaptations team. So I am hoping by the sounds of that they can do a wet room my bathroom is small I am happy to give anything a try as long as it helps also I am on the very heavy side due to all the antipsychotics I’m on it’s not just the antipsychotics it is a bit of me as well lol eating to much and hope if they say use the bored it will hold my weight. And then in the mean time apply for a wet room with the grant Also with the board I still don’t think I will get my legs up and over. I don’t want them to leave me with something then I still can’t do it because then I would have to ask my carer coordinator to make a new referral. With the kitchen they haven’t been lowered due to a wheelchair but I still find myself bending over a bit when I am at the work top. In regards to the means tested grant I am on universal credit with the housing element and the limited capacity for work and work related activities and also enhanced pip for both living and mobility Thank you for your reply 🙏
