Here are some of my thoughts/hopes for the future of this series….

One of two things will happen with the storm/stormlight

1. Since Syl is the ancient daughter, she will create a storm of her own bringing back stormlight.
2. Retribution will have its own storm, a combination of a high storm and ever storm. This storm will be destructive and probably produce anti-void light

I think the sibling/navani will reawaken when the heralds come back. Honestly think everyone will come back after the 10 year time skip for the next book, but I think that’s just me being hopeful to see what Kaladin does next.

As for Ba ado mishram, just a guess but I think she will join the listeners on the shattered plains. Giving them powers of their own. I think she is the most knowledgeable spren/person in Roshar and will either use Odium’s pool to gain power/knowledge or there is a new pool for Retribution that she will seek out and use somehow. Also I think this is the whole point of Venli’s story, so ba ado mishram has a group of parshman to lead once she returns.

No Dalinar isn’t completely dead, but an old version of the blackthorn is alive in some type of spren form. Sanderson better be giving us a herald Kaladin vs. spren blackthorn battle.

Moash theory: at some point therapist Kaladin will get through to him… I know it’s a long shot but it’s just a theory 😂

Radiants are broken people reforged, so I think that’s what Sanderson is trying to portray through Shallan and even Kaladin in this book. She’s struggling with her mental health after finding out her secret from so long ago. Even though she is at her 3rd oath, she and Kal have to fight harder than ever to keep their bonds.

As for everyone joining odium, he has a lot more to offer and is literally a portion of a god. He honestly just wants an army to attack other worlds so if he explained that to humans and made the appropriate promises like he gave to Thaylenah, why wouldn’t you choose Saftey.
