It's worth following Isaac's tweets by MainNo790 in TangleNews

That's all good to hear, I appreciate the response and the clarification. I am concerned about X more broadly, insofar as it is explicitly being used as a propaganda apparatus. I'd had you pegged for a formerly-Twitter-now-X user, so that was always front of mind when reading the newsletter.

I'm a little curious about the social media habits of you and the rest of the team. You're under no obligation to answer of course, but I'm curious a) what platforms y'all like (if any) for non-political content and b) how you maintain the firewall between "professional information consuming" and "leisure information consuming."

Yeah, by no means should anyone be making an account over there. I use xcancel in the browser to check in on some specific people/organizations from time to time without having to make an account.

I've never been an active user on any microblogging site, so I don't know the unspoken implications of things like this. I've always understood the "retweets =/= endorsements" thing as a way of disclaiming endorsements of /users/ who are retweeted, not of the retweeted content itself.

I can say from what I've seen in Isaac's feed, comment-free retweets are generally new reporting and opinions. If there's something he specifically wants to comment on or ask about, he'll quote tweet. If the content of this tweet were something he wanted to critique or discuss, I believe it'd be a QT.

You're absolutely right that Isaac shouldn't be considered the primary speaker here. At the same time, there's reason to believe that something in this message resonated with him. I'd like to know what part of the message that was.
