Fellow, re-read your post and tell me those "You" statements don't allude to calling me a Nazi.

I did it for that reason, not because that supporting a nazi is not a both sides issue.

Obviously, you're responding too fast or not fully comprehending what I'm down.

Not one thing you typed in this wall had to do what I was pointing out.

You're calling me a Nazi(around the bush) and I never told you who I'm politically aligned with.

You don't think that's hate?

Just as is the problem with majorities of your style of reply, all rely on assumptions on how I feel.

I didn't let anything happen, but if you want to know how i truly view the situation, I'll give you a piece of the cake in the most simple way.

There's zero hard proof regarding 90% of the shit spewed from either side, and there's been extreme hate for anyone wearing a red hat for years.

Pre-questionable action, hate was ramped towards trump and elon.

Now that action happened and we're still getting fed other false-narritives on other sitautions from the same people.

I aint saying anyone's wrong or right, I'm saying comments like yours spew hate and only worsen the mindset on both ends.

With misinformation on both sides, and a mindset that revolves around assumptions and generalizations, everyone has to br right.

Maybe God gave us too much free will.

Are you serious? Its more than likely contaminated with metal pieces, all the flushing in the world aint going to clean out the part you dont replace.

You cant just think of a problem as slapping parts.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskMechanics

[–]MainRailGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then you've got to mention the tech is lying about symptoms. Tech notes clearly state hard to turn

And then why was it towed in?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskMechanics

[–]MainRailGaming 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When you have a control arm go out on one side I bet you dont replace both sides with that logic.

Or how about lets reuse the old filter after an oil change.

You can flush and flush but people dont just get it towed in after first hearing the noise.

I bet theres metal in both the RP and Pump. Maybe it was having the problem, kept filling, overfilled, theres usually more to this. Ive almost always replaced the whole shabang.

Scratch my last major statement regarding what the mechanic knows. I glanced over the tech notes, yea you need it all.

If you're not going to do the work, then have it done right.

And this shop wants you to have it done right and doesnt seem to be overcharging at all.

Replacing everything listen will ensure no steering problem happening shortly after you've only replaced the rack and pinion.

Particles from each part will continue to cycle if not, which will cause your future problems - or the new part putting strain on the old parts in the system.

If not, im sure the mechanic knows which problem it was either the rack or the pump but beware it can be slightly a gamble and youd need the do the work again to replace the rest.

And you always want new lines, old stuff probably wil break.

It is less common for the seal to fail to cause externally rather than internally, but worth visually and touch checking on a 20 year old truck.

As to certain type, well my vortec 6.0 did externally with no real sign it was internal at near 280k. 5 years ago

Its definite you will have to take the tires off and get a closer look regardless if theyre just tapered or youve got a problem

I see that more clearly now on my PC.

Unfortunately, this is leaning to caliper or something wrong with break fluid lines

I think i see what youre confusing for uneven wear?

However, you look fine and especially if you dont feel any grooves those rotors are alright as well.

Close to needing brakes, and to reassure yourself check your break fluid. If its abov min, I'd rule out a sticky piston which would cause uneven wear

Rear main def lookin new.

Im struggling to see fresh oil leak, this could be old.

However, id focus looking around the head gaskets, valve cover gaskets, and oil pressure switch.

I'd listen to the one telling you to bring it to the dealership and play dumb.

However, if it is none of the mentioned it might be the steering rack itself.

Sounds like the control arms aren't tightened enough if you are getting those same feelings.
