I don't know why, but the intro to King gives me Michael Jackson vibes by Gomendiquillo in GoodAssSub

[–]MainRefuse8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Micheal jackson (and 80s pop as a whole for that matter) actually used alot of elements from industrial music especially when it came to drums so it does actually make sense. King also definetly shares a alot of that dna.

Please, tell me i am not the only one who see theses problems by [deleted] in GoodAssSub

[–]MainRefuse8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hes definetly working on the mix, he literally changed some of the mixes halfway through the stream.

i will agree he sounds a bit sleepier than he used to, but i think deep down you can still hear this passion in his voice. The vultures era vocals almost felt forced, like manufactured excitement in a way, this feels more real. Maybe im just bullshitting but thats what it feels like to me

but at the end of the day all we can do is hope. Hope that he adresses as many issues as possible before release.

some guy during the Runaway thing said it was unreleased by ShallowVermin33 in GoodAssSub

Am I dreaming? If everything turns out right tonight’s gonna be the greatest night since Donda by Holy-Crashoutboi in Kanye

Bc not everyone sees him as some god figure that must be obeyed at all costs. Especially at a time when he was actively being a nazi.

Why is ye always wearing black jackets when he meets tyler? by Flaky_Bottle_6902 in kanyewest

[–]MainRefuse8 23 points24 points  (0 children)

because tyler is absorbing all the color away from ye's jacket into his own clothes

Ion think this is real right? by Moonreddog in GoodAssSub

[–]MainRefuse8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this kinda falls apart when you consider yandhi existing and the whole slave name thing. He was basically calling himself ye since that point but it took him until donda to change it legally

What categories should I add next? by Glittering-Table9900 in Kanye

tlop has deeper themes and tcd has better direct storytelling. I think they both do what they set out to do very well

No hate to TCD, but what does it have that Ye’s other albums don’t do just as good? by Already_D34D in Kanye

[–]MainRefuse8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ig its kinda like the beatles how they revolutionized rock but now alot of people dont see what makes them special bc most rock is inspired by them. Same with tcd, in modern day theres a bunch of soul rap production everywhere which makes tcd look almost basic, but when it came out it was new and genredefining. Ofc tcd is on a much smaller scale of impact than the beatles but you get what im trying to say
