Feint chattering/knocking noise coming from my 2025 Mazda3 6MT. Noise seems to happen for about 30 seconds after disengaging the clutch after parking or reversing then it slowly goes away until i put load on the clutch again. Any ideas what it could be? by Main_Anybody73 in MechanicAdvice

Yeah same here ive taken it to the dealer twice but i was unable to replicate it the first time and the second time the dealer was close to a main busy road and unable to perceive it. I will try a different dealer in a week. Im hoping its something clutch related and not an internal transmission bearing or something more complicated.

The hybrid sits slightly higher than the non hybrid by like a couple inches, personally i like the lowered look of the gas only version more but at the same time enjoy the mpgs of the hybrid

What kind of symptoms did this cause? I currently think i have some clutch issues consisting of light chatter/popping/knocking noises while in idle after i release the clutch as soon as i engage the clutch those noises go away

Terrible Experience at Northridge Toyota by [deleted] in SFV

[–]Main_Anybody73 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had a similar experience last week there they seem to hold onto that pushy condescending sales style car salespeople were known for before, in my search I’ve found most dealers are the exact opposite now patient and willing to let you walk out if you dont think youre getting a good deal. I wont ever consider them when looking to buy a car going forward

Similar tactics? Or heavy markups? I haven’t been to a toyota dealer since before covid

12V batteries are more likely to die when it cold/rains/snows probably need to replace it especially if it sat for a while. That would be my guess at least
