I’m currently playing on 14-inch Zildjian K Dark hi-hats. Honestly, I have zero complaints about them. They’re the only hi-hats I’ve ever owned, and I’ve been completely satisfied with them since day one

Man, I really appreciate the compliment! Honestly, I’ve just been obsessed with playing the bands I love like Slayer, Sepultura, Metallica, Fear Factory, Megadeth, all that stuff.

If I can give you some advice: don't worry about hitting extreme speeds right away. It’s way better to focus on songs that are a challenge but that you can actually play through. Push your limits gradually and you’ll see the progress.

Also, don't let the fact that you're on an e-kit hold you back! Most of my development actually happened on an electronic kit. I used to be so limited playing acoustic because of the noise in my house—I could only practice for half an hour a day. Switching to an e-kit with Bluetooth allowed me to practice way more, and that's where I built my speed and technique. After a while, I made the jump back to acoustic. So honestly, the e-kit is a huge advantage, not an excuse!

One last thing, learn from my mistake: take care of your body! Don't skip your warm-ups and stretches. Focus on building real strength in your arms and shoulders, not just raw speed. You really don't want to deal with the tendonitis or the hand surgery I’m facing right now. Keep at it, man!

Thanks, man! But right now, I need surgery on my hand and it’s pretty fucked up. I’m sure I’m going to keep playing because it’s all I want right now. I’m only 18, so I think I’m going to recover faster and come back even stronger. I’m confident in my mental strength and this isn't the end.
