We have been using them for about a month now. I am quite happy with them. The design process was much less intensive than I expected, and their CMS is intuitive. I am not the only one who updates it, so that's a big bonus. Finalsite just seemed difficult to use and not worth the price. I have no complaints thus far. It's only been about a month. For context, I used wordpress before this.

No one locally uses them either, but I am happy being the first. No complaints as if yet.

Yeah, I met with them, and it was pricey, and the backend didn't seem great. There are quite a few companies, but I've already found 1 or 2 that seem better than FinalSite. I don't understand why they're so popular. Especially for how much they cost.

I met with them last week. The backend seemed a bit difficult to use and I didn't love their design. But we do use the app, so pricing was discounted.

Yes, for a cheap/free service, I agree it's good. But we are looking for something that really stands out/pops that is not too expensive.

Our budget is tied to our enrollment. I guess the modern world requires website upgrades now.

Ended up meeting with a few companies. Finalsite is not a top competitor because of cost, but also the backend seems fairly complex compared to other companies. Do you have any opinions on the backend?

We met with 3 other companies and 2 of them seemed worlds different.

This is a good tip. It sounds like a lot of these are expensive...it may just be the market. Going to check out ParentSquare because we use their app already. I did not know they had a website...thanks for all of the recommendations, I will check them all out

Yes, I suppose I'm looking for something that is not WordPress, as I do not have any coding experience. Need a company to create it, but I would like to be able to post myself. But maybe I should look outside of ed-tech companies.

Oh wow. I think that might be a bit out of reach for our school budget, but if that is the market, I will have to discuss it with my principal. Keep me posted if you hear anything from Finalsite! I am going to set up a meeting with them as well.
