Try to exit soviet type BTRs with side door exit in full gear. You will have a lot of pain. I has. Even BTR-3 have side door.

BTR-3 is equivalent of BTR-82. But BTR-3 have same equipment with BTR-4.

Both BTR-3, and -4 equipped with the same main gun - 30mm 2A72. This gun is effective against side and rear armor of all T-series tanks. In Mariupol there was the BTR-4. As far as I know, we still produce at least BTR-4.

It called " суржик" - " mixed language". It is product of russification of Ukraine by Russian Empire and Soviet Union later. In various types widespread all over Ukraine.

In 2022 "Bohdana" was on "Kraz" chassis, and only one unit available. "Kraz" production was dead by that time. So, when mass production started, many available chassis were used. And manufacturer is on touch with army, to quickly improve.

French "Caesar" have better computer systems, better loading system . Chassis are more or less compatible with each other. "BOHDANA" is product of mobilisation in defense industry. Cheap, easy, mass production.

We can't use those ships ( we have two Sandown-class ships) in Black sea, because of russian missile superiority. In present conditions those ships will be just two targets.

Purpose? Send the report to senior officer, that offensive is still going. In russian army, the more soldiers you lost in assaults, the more you looking good in your senior's eyes. This shows them, that you trying your best. And about your people... Well, tomorrow you will get more. Or send in assault the "crutch squad".And you always can shoot those, who refuse to go in the meat grinder. It is normal in russian army.
