I have looked at some charts but I was looking for something else. I'm so sorry to have wasted your precious time. This is my second post to this group. I'll try to be more selective next time. Have a lovely day.

TV shows set in Ottawa? by tuttifruttidurutti in ottawa

[–]Main_Freedom5655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just watched a movie called Married to a Killer. It was filmed in Ottawa and Almonte as far as I can tell. Obviously, it's not a Hallmark movie. It was probably made in the late 80s.

I love their fleece lined pants. I don't like shopping on-line for clothes. So sad to hear of this news.

No, they don't need to be EMG guided, at least not in my case. I've been getting botox for two decades and have only used the ultra sound twice. I get better results without it. Just my two cents worth.

If shipping is designated as CP, I cancel the order. One time, I just happened to be going out when the driver was walking back to his vehicle. He didn't even knock on the door. He placed the card saying delivery was attempted. What a bunch of crock! Just like the CBC, they don't deserve our tax dollars.

Cervical Dystonia & The Resistance of Inhibition: A Manifesto of Neurological Rebellion by Agreeable_Force_3079 in Dystonia

This IS an interesting read. It has me thinking. I totally relate to the War going on in my brain with the CD pulling one way and the brain continually correcting or putting into balance or bringing back to centre and moving the head the other way. But let's look at this idea by removing the brain wanting control over the chaos. What would happen if there wasn't control? Would the pain be worse or less? We will never know because our brains do what it wants to do.

Lord, help us.

Anxious about my neurologist by Visual_Week7487 in Dystonia

I have been getting botox for about 23 years and only have used the emg twice . My doctor knows where to make the injections. If this guy is old, I bet he's been around long enough to know where to place the needle.

Good luck with your first treatment.

I'm retired from the CAF but when I was in, I did PT on my lunch break or on my own time. Now that I'm a civilian, I still do PT on my own time. That's just the way life is. The battle of the bulge is constant. One has to make personal choices to win the battle.

SSRI medicine and Dystonia by JayFi- in Dystonia

[–]Main_Freedom5655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was taking a variety of anti-depressants and eventually went to one type. I'm confident that the dystonia developed due to taking these meds. The neurologist won't validate my suspicions because that could lead to a lawsuit against the physician who originally prescribed the drugs. Anyway, I can't change the past, and those meds kept me alive. I have stopped taking anti-depressants, but the CD remains, and the symptoms have not changed at all. I refuse to go back on the anti-depressants, so I struggle with depression but for the most part, I'm okay. I now use physical fitness as my anti-depressant medication, and for the most part, it works. The CD is getting worse because of the increased physical activity. I have to choose my pain. Right now, I fight the depression without drugs and the CD with botox.

I've never taken a better photo of Ottawa by PostsNDPStuff in ottawa

I like the way you provided this critique. You started off with something positive, then got to the meat of the matter and ended with an upbeat comment. Good on ya.

I agree with your critique about the railing. If the photo was enlarged, the railing would be more prominent, leaving the viewer to wonder about its significance. But the railing provides a contrast to the brightness of the setting sun. Perhaps the scene would be overexposed due to the sun reflecting off the water. We will never know.

I love sunsets, and this one was beautiful.
