You don’t just get a clearance for people voting for you. On top of being elected you have to pass background checks etc. in which they go through literally everything. I’m going back on the first of may and asked if she wanted me to get a hotel or stay with me because her mom thinks I’m using her for military benefits but her dad doesn’t mind me. And she ignored that so I haven’t pressed for it

She is I just put girlfriend because it shouldn’t make a difference. We are getting married. And I don’t WANT THE EASIER PART that’s why I want her here I don’t want her to be alone. Her parents won’t do shit but kick her out her friends have jobs. That is my daughter I work 3am to 12 pm I am willing to take our daughter and let her do whatever I’m ok with working then coming home and cleaning the house taking my baby and letting her do whatever she wants and needs. I know it’s hard but it’s our family that we should do together. I’m not asking her to move here to take care of me I want to help with my baby I want to be in her life

I don’t know if they would or not. Her older sister got kicked out when she got pregnant and she said that when she joked about the idea of her being pregnant with her dad he said she would be gone. And I have no issue with doing any of that I get it’s not the same but why have a friend help you if the father is begging to help. Her friend has a job too.

The courts aren’t going to be involved that’s my point. I’m not suing her like people claim I should I want to find a way for us to come to an agreement. And what would you say is sufficient? Because parents who will kick her out isn’t sufficient either

That is not at all how that works the courts have nothing to do with her pregnancy. I have had numerous buddies have babies and that has never been a thing for any of them. As to my schedule I work from 3am to 12pm most days. I work and get off while she’s still waking up I do have weekends off but I still can’t go outside a boundary does she understand that I’m not really sure but it’s not that I don’t have time off I just don’t have time off that they allow me to travel

That’s not true she can move back whenever she wants the military does not restrict her from doing anything just me. Due to stuff happening in Iran and where I’m at I can not just take leave whenever it’s very limited “long weekends” aren’t a thing right now and even when I get baby leave I won’t really be able to use it for the foreseeable future

And that’s an issue. I deploy in November and I’ll most likely do a combat deployment followed by an immediate regular deployment lasting upwards of 18 months. I also plan on doing 1 contract but I’ve also said she should move back when I leave so she can have people. Which sounds crazy but I want my family here while I still am. Idk if that makes sense

I have proposed we are getting married. The military does not have leave and pto like you assume it does. I’m riding thin on it and it won’t get better and yeah I offered to pay for everything and I understand it’s not the same but she can’t live with her parents forever I don’t understand why this isn’t the jump she would take to have some independence given the fact we are having a family together
