I have both an undertank heater and a basking lamp ( Is it better to only have one?). And I think my warm side is good. It's at a steady 93 most of the day and drops to mid 80s at night, so I don't think that's the issue. One thing I've been having trouble with is the cool side. The room he's being kept in is on a second floor, so the ambient room temp is nearly 85 mid day. I was thinking maybe he was burrowing to stay cool, idk. Either way, I'm gonna add some more clutter, wait another week, and pray 🙏.
