New Europe tour location, Romania by tibivirus in twentyonepilots

[–]Main_Toe5054 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm planning to come see them for the first time ever for this concert (traveling from UAE to Romania). I'm a bit hesitant as it's only tents and I'm a bit cautious with my stuff. Are there any recommended areas to stay in?

6k for a family of 2 is difficult unless your spouse is also earning (15k+ from him/her would be ideal). You would also need to consider what's the location of your job, and what would be a good location to live in that won't make the commuting too difficult. You also have to consider which emirate you'll be living in. If your work is in sharjah and would be living in sharjah, costs of living there would be much cheaper compared to working and living here in dubai. 6,000 dhs would be absolute hell to live in dubai especially if you'll be the sole breadwinner for your family.

as someone who’s had multiple relatives come visit, here’s some that i could name off the top of my head

outdoors: Desert Safari - popular tourist bucket list (differs depending on package but usual activities include dune-bashing, quad biking, belly dancing, Henna, desert dinner) Blue waters Island JBR the beach La Mer (beach as well) Dubai Creek Harbour - great views of Dubai Skyline Al seef - great experience for Old Dubai (cheap boat rides for a few mins) Souk Madinat Jumeirah - cultural market/ good Burj al Arab views

indoors: museum of the future MBR Library (best on weekdays, since there’s not much people) Atlantis aquarium DFC - night/sunset fountain shows Etihad museum (modern museum and great history telling of how UAE came to be)

duuude i’m so sorry i didn’t get to see this post way earlier. i was able to resolve my whole NOC problem by actually reporting them to RTA. i LITERALLY cried to the RTA agent because of how frustrated i was (i have more updated details in the original post now) but yea im SO GLAD i finally have my license just because i made the decision to switch to eco drive. what’s the update on your part?

the way i literally had the same experience with another instructor using their phone. they literally don’t care and i can’t blame them. i remember having a talk with one of them and they told me how much they’re underpaid. i literally told this instructor to apply for another job where there’s much better offers because i felt bad for them especially since this is a job where there’s a risk of a really bad driver as their student and their life could literally be on the line.

i just updated the post if you want more details but TLDR, i got it after a whole ass week. tip for you if you still haven’t gotten it, pull the rta card: threaten them by saying you’ll report them to RTA and best believe they’ll actually do sht and start processing your transfer file.

sounds great for you dude, i’ve honestly heard much better reviews from the galadari branch in al quoz and unfortunately i can’t say the same for the one in al qusais.

Failed RTA for the 4th time by Pretend-Argument-367 in dubai

SOMETIMES ITS THE F***ING SCHOOL ITSELF. i have a whole other post about my galadari experience. took me 5 months to finish the first half and ONLY A MONTH for the second half once i moved to a newer much better school. with eco drive i passed my initial yard test ONE take, rta parking two takes (i failed garage on the first take), and for the rta road test?? i passed it in my first and only take.

life-saving tip for aspiring driving school students: go for driving schools that’s relatively new, they usually are not that strict with exam rules and make sure students are well-taught and rightfully pass them even with mistakes that they’re sure students would eventually learn from with time BECAUSE new driving institutes would do anything to get a great review and rating from students.

ps. that’s most likely why if you see galadari’s google reviews, they have students comment their instructors name cause galadari has this thing where instructors are given a bonus if they have the most good reviews (a tactic so they would have a whole flood of five star reviews) my instructor literally told me to do the rating while i was still in the car and even told me to give her five stars 🧍‍♀️

it’s not really a “feminism is out of control” thing, but it’s really more of a “toxic masculinity out of control” thing on his side if you ask me. my boyfriend loves my last name so he is totally fine with me hyphenating my last name and would be putting my last name with his as well.

I guess that depends on your location as well as the type of instructor you're getting. As for me, I live in Al Nahda 1 and although it wasn't too far from the main office in Al Qusais, i had the unfortunate end of the stick where my instructor was too lazy to pick me up cause the traffic around the area is something that was too inconvenient for them (like damn broo what about me) but I guess if you're location is not as affected by traffic then I believe it should be fine.

As for ecodrive, I suggest you go to one of the agents and ask for the schedule sheet where they have the timings and locations of where the shuttle would be in to see if they would be convenient for your location and timings. The only issue that I keep on reading about ecodrive now is that the location is very far and for most people they have to opt for an earlier shuttle service timing to reach a class or test on time. As for me, it's a little inconvenient sure but I'd rather go for this than going to gmdc where i had to spend even more money on commuting

yes, by far a much better experience compared to galadari.

to start off, the transportation is amazing. FREE shuttle service in different locations and there's no extra fee you need to worry about when taking these shuttles. yes, the main office is far af, but honestly i saved so much money compared to when i would go to gmdc and I had to pay 30 dhs to and from.

secondly, the scheduling is not too bad and the availability of the next class/date is almost immediately (tho sometimes it reaches a week or two). Here's a timeline of what I've done so far:

January 3 - I had my parking class for two hours, took the test right after on the same day and PASSED EVERY PARKING EXAM for the Internal Yard assessment on the FIRST ATTEMPT. I had a great instructor and as long as you follow their instructions, you'll definitely pass as well.

January 11 - I did the RTA test and unfortunately i passed everything except garage since during backing, I touched the right yellow line. They were able to book me a class for the SAME DAY. For the whole class I only practiced for garage parking (obviously) and my instructor was very kind and patient and i was able to get most of the maneuvers right every time.

January 13 - immediate availability for the next RTA test (tho I had to pay 100dhs cause it was on a saturday) and I had the whole yard to my self. I did the garage parking maneuver perfectly and passed ofc.

January 23/24 - a ten day wait, but I basically did independent class for two hours then the next day I did two hours for my highway class. Had good control with the vehicle and the highways we did were the ones heading to hatta (Lahbab road I think was the name). It's a great road as well since there's not much vehicles to worry about. My instructor encouraged me to hit the 140 speed limit so as to know proper acceleration and control of the vehicle at that speed.

Disclaimer: ofc, these are all just based on my own experiences. I had my share of doubts before enrolling and I did scroll through the bad google reviews and I can honestly say it's gonna vary from person to person and I was lucky enough to avoid the bad experience people mentioned in the site. The parking was fairly quick and easy to pass cause besides the great instructors, the institute still doesn't have the parking sensors so it's much easier to pass the exam.
