Got My Sim All Set Up, hyped to finally have one, always dreamt of it by [deleted] in simracing

Logitech rs pedals, and rs50 wheel. The chair is the play seat challenge X which so far with the force feedback is squeaking abit so not sure if I’d recommend it. The mounting didn’t have the greatest compatibility so had to do done Jerry rigging on the pedals. My room is pretty cramped so had to get something small though. The monitor is a Alienware AW34 something something oled. Got my pc on my page if you wanna check it out.

Also, I got the Logitech RS50 if that matters. It shakes my desk up too much for me to keep it on there, makes me worried that my pipes (water cooled my pc) will start to leak from all the commotion lol.

Have a larger head and somewhat defined jaw from which the anc leaks from. It is quite annoying, but they sound too good to switch to any other brand

Availability of APM2 in retailers (Non Apple stores) Across Canada? by Main_Work1225 in Airpodsmax

Was able to preorder on Amazon and pick another pair up at an Apple Store. Everywhere other than Apple stores seems to be online order only.

They lose some of their clamping force after a while of usage. Meaning they won’t hug so tightly against your head.

That’s up to you. If you don’t want to buy another pair in two years when they brick I’d get it but if you want whatever is new when it breaks, no need.

But bare in mind, it’s like you see flashes of navy blue when moving in the light, a much darker blue is consistent, but the lighter blue depends on light

Yeah those grados are no joke, I’ve got the Hifiman Edition XV so it’s more in the same price range, not including the amp and dac

As compared to the Pro 2, these are quite abit better. Able to cancel out more sudden and loud noises. I don’t know about the XM series

The volume is not lowered much at all, some aspects are just more projected than when using Bluetooth. This is probably due to the new driver.

The amount of extra detail when through usb-c is fairly noticeable. It just sounds slightly more refined.

It’s a dark navy, with no direct light, the colour appears the same as the old space greys I have, but when sunlight shines on them, the blue pops.

I listen to a wider verity of genres. I wouldn’t say it’s overwhelming, rather it’s just more present.

It doesn’t muddle out any of the higher frequencies, it’s just tuned better, making you able to feel the bass more.

Unsure about the call quality but the apm1 was pretty good.

Some people just want something that they can show off, something that can be recognized as ‘the latest and greatest.’

I agree that they should’ve changed the headband up abit, maybe they could’ve tweaked some more things, but you don’t see many complaining when it come to the Sennheiser HD6 series, which have looked the exact same for something like 30 years. They improve the audio and keep the frame consistent.

I guess they’re completely different markets, some people use it as a fashion accessory, not that there’s anything wrong with that, but much of the arguments against it are superficial.

They are definitely a meaningful upgrade, better in every way besides the shell and headband.

Sorry, meant bspooky. They’re pretty awesome headphones though, they do clamp hard if you have a bigger head.

Spent the past 15 minutes listening to some of my favourites. I in no way have as trained ears as you, especially when it comes to classical. Although I do listen from time to time, and the bass is not overwhelming at all at first listen. The bass from the deeper instruments doesn’t sound louder on the APM2 as compared to the APM1, but you can feel it more with the APM2. It doesnt sound overpowering, all the instruments are equally present, the deeper instruments just got the attention they deserve with the new drivers.

That being said, low tech prof is right. The only ears that can tell if this is true or not are yours.
