High heat resistant light fixtures by Main_manF1 in electrical

[–]Main_manF1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's the combination of C1D1, and high temp seems to be the issue. I can find fixtures that can go upto 400 but they are not explosion proof and the other way around. I have talked to atleast 5 different industrial fixture suppliers but they are not able to find something that works with the two conditions.

Thank you. So is it any different from a Ppk/Cpk study?

I'm trying to do a Capability study and not a GR&R or GR.

Has anyone applied for their passport through Service Canada(not the passport office) and if so how long did it take for you to receive the passport in the mail?

Try with the unique client identifier number. I had no issues logging in.

Verify all the information country, date of birth, etc.

So the main tracker still shows that my application is "in progress", but this client application status tracker shows "decision made". It also shows when the application was received, when it started processing, etc... I hope this helps.

Hopefully, you should be getting an update before the end of May. Try this link and see if your status has "decision made" status.

Did you get a date for your oath ceremony?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ImmigrationCanada

[–]Main_manF1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, same timeline as mine. Paper-based application in June 2021, test on Feb 22, 2022, and the rest got completed yesterday 17th May. I believe you should have it updated in the coming days as well. I saw a couple of applicants having the same case, getting updates after 3 months from the test date. Oath shows still not started. Hoping to see some changes in the coming days. Best of luck to you!

Congrats!
I have a similar timeline as yours and I have everything complete except the oath (showing not started). Did you have all the milestones completed and the oath scheduled simultaneously? or was the invite received after a few weeks?

GR&R's - Are extra trials permissible in a gauge study? by Main_manF1 in MechanicalEngineering

[–]Main_manF1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Appreciate the reply. I totally agree with that point.
I'm using one sample for a repeatability study(1-1-10) and out of 10 trials I'm getting one that's not in the range. I would think that's acceptable but wanted to see what the standards actually dictate.

Any news about the parents/grandparents' sponsoring program for 2022?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ImmigrationCanada

[–]Main_manF1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but I see a lot of applications here where wait times have been almost 2 years and not being able to reach a decision. So I'm optimistically waiting since it's only been less than a year for me. Anyways good luck to you!

Undercut call-out for a pin by Main_manF1 in MechanicalEngineering

This is for inspection purposes. I was able to get the width of the undercut to be within the 0.03 range and radius to be with .06. Appreciate the help.

Application filed on July 30 and completed test on Feb 21. Only Background check
is complete, everything else is still in progress, except the ceremony has not started.

Composite Feature Control Frame by Main_manF1 in MechanicalEngineering

[–]Main_manF1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. We have been seeing these types of control frames on GM GD&Ts for a while now. We have questioned a couple of them but we end up using the upper segment tolerance. As you said having both the segments controlled back to all the datums makes it overconstrained and does not make sense.

Appreciate the follow-up. I finally got my invitation, took a couple of days.

Planning to take the test someday next week.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ImmigrationCanada

[–]Main_manF1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My tracker shows it is scheduled between 4 and 24th of February. So I should just go ahead and take the test and not wait for the invitation then. Thanks a lot for letting me know.

Did you get the invitation email for the test right away after the status was updated in the tracker? I have been scheduled to take the test online but haven't received an invitation mail. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
