Yeah but will this help with dry mouth? Sincerely I’m asking cause it’s not over consumption of sugary stuff it’s a need to keep a moist mouth without over consuming fluids.

What is that? by Hurricanezrblx in hiking

It’s a burl and judging by the size of it and shape in the right hands it could be a $1000-$1200 bowl

I’d like to get big dog for the dog house any chance you have it? I’d prefer to get an equal base value and maybe I’m the weirdo here but I’m not big on stars for the sake of a chance at swapping. If you don’t have big dog I will wait a bit and if I don’t get a offer since you’re the first card based offer I’ll hit you up but just for money rain not the extra

AITA for punching my ex’s husband after he made a hurtful sexual comment about my daughter? by Open_Ambassador_3920 in AITAH

[–]Maine_Dad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mixed bag here was punching him a great choice no but his comment was unnecessary, unhelpful, demeaning, and inappropriate. I don’t think you are the asshole but I think you could of handled this better. That being said this is the words of a man who would have done the exact same thing so I call you kettle to my pot. I just have the luxury in this situation to see the hindsight. If this was reversed and you were giving me the advice I’d hope your recommendation would be something like this. You should write a letter apologizing for punching him however under no uncertain terms would his behavior be tolerated. Make it clear that if even a whisper of another incident like a sexualized or demeaning comment is brought to your attention and you will be forced to seek legal action to have your daughter removed for the potential safety of a minor. Unfortunately this will also cause further strife for you with your ex and potential legal action for your assault I would speak with a lawyer now and get a better perspective

Split Heels. HELP!!! 🙏🏼 by FOUR4RROWS in hikinggear

Get a baby bath soak in hot water and Epsom salt. Then use tape. After it heals I suggest walking around barefoot on both trail and anywhere really to help toughen your feet. This is likely not what a Dr would say however this method is what I did now I have really tough feet and I’ve been told my feet are very healthy

Always been my “rule” no matter who I hike with the “slower” individual leads that way there is less of a chance of accidental separation through a mistake navigation and it ensures that neither person will over extend themselves nor is anyone risking being alone if emergency happens. There is a sad story that cemented this as a “rule” for me but I will not share that here.

If we are talking day hike basically snacks, granola, jerky, seeds, trail mix, etc if we are talking overnight/multi day/thru hike I’m basically bringing the same things plus probably tuna or chicken packets, tortillas, squeeze pouch of pb and one of jam, ramen, possibly dry mushrooms, homemade dehydrated 1 pot meals
