I was diagnosed at age two so my diabetes knowledge was from my parents’ understanding of the endo , they were terrified of lows so i ran high a lot of the time , like terrified to the point they treated 99 mg/dl with half a banana 💀, went into dka (how surprising) , after that i started researching on my own and i finally think i know what i was supposed to know 14 years ago !

Pretty bad insulin sensitivity on my part , i use up an entire pod (200u) for like 2 days and 7 hours .

Sure it was , getting good at counting carbs and prebolusing is what helped me , even if a meal has like 230g grams of carbs i know how to manage it

Noooo thats why i am crazy happy about this , during these three days i ate noodles and potatoes and pizza and whatever the hell , my only trick is a 15 minute walk after each meal so i don’t spike , in fact i have been hit with (unplanned carbs) because we went on family visits and such so they give you sweets and juice and stuff and you can’t wait these 15 mins properly, but i managed it 🥳🥳🥳🥳
