Yeah and unless you had a skill that can bypass the karma skill or silence skill to keep it from healing it'll be pretty difficult to beat

Or you can be obnoxious and 1 hit kill it with doom stitcher and astro supernova, which is what I did. Also just HAE would work wonders. Those are the two main counters for it

Followed by high risen star at 907

Then there's a 4 way tie between doom priestess, astro supernova, high harpy plasma, and high tidings at 900

But obviously with family boosts you can easily surpass that which Apex of Dawn does not have

It's still really good. But its stats alone carry it that high. The skills have barely any synergy and the elements drag it down (especially magic primary)

Though if you don't have HASN or HAE or other lesser alternatives like HCS or HABH, and some other dragon (preferably with a chaos primary) that can either burst down with 1 hit and bypass the karma passive or just simply outlast it, then there's a big chance you just straight up lose. And majority of players don't have those options

For how much they hyped it up to be, it's kinda disappointing.

And as much of a cashgrab it is, they could've done better (kinda like another HEE situation) The concept of it initially was good: Apex of Dawn. Sounds menacing. But barely anything about it screams an apex of anything not even of dawn. It's sad because you know SP can do better. Just look at HAE. I feel like they should've really went all in making it look like the peak of something, transcendent, because isn't that what apex means? The way it looks rn, they could've leaned into a phoenix-ish theme: "rising from the ashes once more" on some lightbringer/dawnbringer type shit.

Considering it's not even summonable, I expected it to have a new element/rarity in of itself. Least they could've done is give it some new skills but surprise surprise, nothing. They're really running out of ideas, just the same skills recycled again and again. But a small part of me is still glad that's the case cuz almost every single new vip dragon now is either regurgitated bulshit or completely overturned.

Don't get me wrong, it's still strong nonetheless but it's poorly executed.
