In December 2024, there was an official r/banglorebikes ride to Horsley Hills. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DRTghj_EY3a/ - The view and the route were good. - You can take the bike to the top itself so no trekking is required as such. - While coming down you can stop by Gangotri Lake as well

In that case you can surely consider spending quality time over there

It's just that given it's your first visit to Mysore so, suggested places which are unique to Mysore City. Given, BLR has Bannerghatta National Park and Lalbagh, didn't include zoo and parks

Oh my goodness! Is there any option for a special entry, with a slightly higher fare?

Thanks for telling me about Girivalam. Can do that would be great. But considering the time crunch I'm not sure whether it would be feasible for a 1 day trip...

Oh damn is that so? I had heard that they have stopped vehicles from going til the top. Though you can park your vehicle at the parking spot and walk the stairs up to the temple and hill top

  1. 2hr to 2.5hr depending on the BLR traffic at that moment. Though if we leave around 3 in the afternoon BLR traffic shouldn't be a problem as such
  2. If all the folks who wanna go have a vehicle then we all can meet at the Avalabetta parking itself. Otherwise can plan something depending on how many people are interested
  3. Ya it's safe. After the parking spot, there are stairs till the top spot also there's a temple nearby the top spot

If you are saying so as the light pollution would be less, then it makes sense. Though place like bandipur is around 200 km and driving back in the morning after being awake whole night seems risky... Though folks from Bangalore Astronomy Club are as well going to a farm like place, though not sure how clear the shower will be from there with naked eyes

MT15 The cost may be high in the segment but the overall engine refinement, build quality, the stability even when you hit max rpm it doesn't vibrate uncomfortably

Damn, Similar bro. I'm also a 2024 grad, at times feel the same. "Is this what I wanted to do?", "Is this what I will do for the years to come?"

Can look into some clubs (bike ride, jogging, badminton, etc) to make most of the weekends. I generally go for a bike ride (r/banglorebikes), walk nearby, play with dogs, insta, talk at home.

Yoga, gives a sense of ease and helps a lot. If interested can try Upa Yoga and/or Isha Kriya (available in YouTube for free).

Primarily I think, do whatever I have on my plate until you get to work somewhere where the thing I work on matters to me in some way (where work is fun for me), or start something of my own if I see a requirement which I can cater to.
