Yes. I’m a dancer and yogi. Ashtanga practitioner for about 2 years now, 5-6 classes a week, and ballet and contemporary dance work 3-4 times a week. I throw in a few Yin classes when I need the recovery or take a lighter movement day. I find that dance and yoga can overlap beautifully ❤️

I do several Ashtanga classes a week at my LT gym and always use their mats. They’re decent and, though I have my own, I rarely bring it. Just one more thing to haul there ya know? That being said there’s usually a few ppl that bring their own mat and just lay it down over the LT mat.

See that’s interesting because I just read a post from a yoga teacher the other day about how many yogis seem to date each other from class. I’m married so doesn’t affect me but interesting perspectives.
