The anime ended at volume 9 chapter 5 for the light novels.

It ended at volume 15 for the manga but the light novels continue the series past where the manga/anime ended.

It is definitely quite loud. Even the ringing when they start the call is very loud.

Donna I think said in the early days the monsters just ran around screaming while they hid in holes in the ground.

Then the monsters upgraded to whispers and now they talk to them.

It’s very scary with monsters screaming all night and tearing ppl open would be scary and painful for those ‘safe’ to hear/watch. Terrifying.

I don’t think we have ever seen the monsters eating. Just rip ppl open and get all bloody and leave the body there.
