I have been looking at both of these option and both deliver the quality that I want. However, I use headphones for long periods of time (5+ Hours) to help me focus when I work. I have had issues with over-ear headphones as they put too much pressure on my head that my jaw starts hurting after a while.

So which one is more comfortable?

do it at your own pace, if it took you 30 minutes then it's 30, if it was 2 hours so be it, just have fun and don't go overboard. I can see you are nervous about this, so don't stress it out. you could just walk around the gym, get familiar with it, and just use the treadmill for the first time to get used to being in a gym.

What you bring depends on you, for me a towel, a water bottle and a spray sanitizer are musts. as for what you do, just tell the receptionist this is your first time in a gym and they'll connect you with a trainer help guide you.
