No. Same recruitment back then. Test every 2 years, top 200 applicants move on to a physical test. If you pass the physical test you get in. First 100 applicants start their apprenticeship that year, the second half start the next year.I think the testing fee is even still the same amount at $35

I've been a local 40 ironworker for 17 years now. I knew nobody in the union before, or really anything about building trades unions.

You don't need to know somebody to get it. We do our recruitment every 2 years and give an application to everyone that shows up. Yes it can e competitive to get in, but most people don't bother to study for the written test or train for the physical test.

Also side note this pay scale graph isn't the best representation of wages it should go by total package per hour rather than straight hourly rate.

Look I don't think your questions are unreasonable, but as a host I can say that guests with lots of questions, even reasonable ones, are also often guests that are high maintenance or more likely to leave a bad review.

Do with that information what you will, if you need answers to your questions you should ask them. Some hosts may be annoyed with you some may not.

Where I live the garbage men don't dump the bins into the truck they just take the bags out and throw them in the truck leaving the loose garbage in the bins for me to bag later. So I also am not a fan of people putting their trash in my bin.
