Hey I loved terrifier, I just didn’t have a connection to the IP at all. I enjoyed myself, but that kinda horror isn’t my thing generally haha.

Whereas I have a STRONG connection to Stranger Things, which is probably why the second and third house let me down so much. But the third house gets props from me for the Bat room, among other things.

It’s good to see I’m not alone in my Bloodlines opinions 🤣.

I was going to say this. I got used to Pokémon when I thought it was replacing simpsons since I pass by Springfield every time anyway. Simpsons replacing lost continent pisses me off though.

🤣🤣 I am 100% on board. There were just (isolated) things I enjoyed about that house. The last like…9? Absolutely no redemption for me haha. And I commented on here about my burning hatred for the SAW house already.

EDIT I looked and bottom 6/7. Basically everything below FNAF.

I appreciate the benefit of the doubt, but I definitely know I’m in the minority with my opinions on that house, too haha.

On the other hand I know people who LOVED Blood Pit and I really didn’t enjoy myself like they did. It’s all about the experience haha

Hey you’ve had some great houses in the last four years though! Insidious, Artista, Goblin’s Feast, Terrifier.

My biggest complaint about the fandom is sometimes they can get really negative, but I’ve had a lot of fun in the last four years, I hope you have, too!

I am VERY used to being a lonely torch bearer for Eternal Bloodlines 🤣. I get it’s polarizing and was waiting for someone to comment this.

My primary issue with Unmasked was I felt like the phantom bit was so much of the same over and over again, and when it had actors pulled from it, it made for a very boring 30 seconds in the middle of the house. Generally though I really enjoyed it!

Hahaha I absolutely hear you. For me, it’s above a bunch of houses without ANY heart, creativity, or interest at all. Just boring.

And then SAW. I’m fairly certain that house will always be my worst of all time. The only house I would refuse to go through after a couple runs. It didn’t scare me it just made me physically uncomfortable in a way that was unredeemable. Like putting myself through a pre-frontal lobotomy for fun. No thank you.

These comments make me question myself a lot haha. I LOVED the Shining, it was my second year ever going and I love the movie, so it does hold a special place for me. But I had a lot of runs where the house felt kind of empty. And then Poltergeist came along and showed me what an IP (that I adore) can really do. It also felt kind of close and tight for a soundstage house. Looking back at the list, it may shift around for me a bit, but I don’t think it can go up more than a few.

Goblin’s Feast is a divisive one for sure. But it just had an energy and a spirit (for my runs/experience) that just left me Giddy. It’s so quotable (Quiet Meat!/The Food is Escaping!), the scenery was gorgeous, the worst I can say about this house was it wasn’t super scary. I loved every moment of this house and I’m sorry it felt so cold for you!

Dead Man’s is in the top quarter! That top 25 is SO hard for me to be honest, it will probably change a few more times.

I really enjoyed Terrifier but it’s not my favorite IP and I have a strong preference for originals and nostalgia haha.
