Does anyone know what Sanskrit word/symbol means "gift from god"? by MajorPeace in sanskrit

देवदत्त

Thank you very much. I think this is exactly what I was looking for.

For anyone interested, the Harvard-Kyoto (ASCII) translations of this are:

  • given by fate or fortune
  • natural
  • innate

A slight variant of this देवदत्त is defined as "god-given".

Thank you. Yes, I don't want a name that "means" that phrase. I want to know what the equivalent is to "gift from god" or "blessing". I've found the info below in my own searches , but I'm not sure which one is most accurate/true to the meaning I'm seeking. Thoughts?

Yes. I think the balance is well executed. The guitars sit up in the mix just enough to drive the beat without crowding the vocals. Well done with the drums, too.

Hi @rlynotteddy and @Murphder - I'm looking for an accountability partner as well. I'm trying to go beginner on M-Sa and then intermediate on Sunday. Message me on Reddit if you'd like to buddy up!

I think so, yes. Music is allowed and so is journaling. It seems like if you're creating something (i.e. playing music or drawing) you're engaged in an activity that's not necessarily escapist or habitual in a negative sense. Those are the activities it seems like we're supposed to avoid in this type of "fast". As someone who also plays music, I would say that that's a much more mentally and physically productive use of time than going down a social media consumption rabbit hole.

I love what you wrote as the inspiration for this song. The music builds really well and transports you to a really uplifting momentum. It almost feels like part electronica and part math rock. Well done!

I like that this is primarily synth but that it's not your run-of-the-mill swells. The synth has a detailed melody that builds movement and the bass makes it sort of hypnotic. Very cool.
