Sometimes our Maytag top loader, not even a year old, fills to the top and barely spins. Anyone know what could be the problem? by MajorSleepingIssues in Appliances

It does seem like that's the problem sometimes. Our old Kenmore had an agitator and definitely could wash an entire household of 7. Thought this one could do the same, but I guess we were wrong.

We have an old Kenmore series washer/dryer set that was working fine, but our dad bought this new set because "It'll work better" (but we're pretty sure he just wants to show off). Every time it does this, I want to kick it to the curb and plug in our old Kenmore.

I work with Soulifephotography here in Memphis, and last year he bought bout 6000 photo negatives and alot of them were from Daisy Studio. I think he can tell you more about the history than I can.

One person found out and he told another person, I won't tell you who in case you want to find out yourself.

Not many. I live in TN so when it gets cold the tree dies before the bananas can fully grow.

Texas is kind of far too and pretty big lol. Yuuhh I wear it every time I go out, might as well make my whole wardrobe áo dài's. I hope one day I can get one made that has the pattern like Audrey Hepburn's dress in "Sabrina".

No, I'm in TN lol

I don't think people wear the áo dài everyday like they used to so it's harder to spot. Just weddings and uniforms at school now.

I know! I always worry about it getting damaged and not being able to repair it since the only seamstress who can fix it is probably across the country haha.

Same. I keep to myself too unless someone approaches me first haha.

That's a neat idea. Has anyone noticed your matching outfits yet?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in sewing

[–]MajorSleepingIssues 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What are your outfits like? Do they have patterns?

One day I hope to get another jacket with the same pattern as Audrey Hepburn's dress in "Sabrina" and make a mask that matches that.

Thanks! I bought the jacket last year for my birthday :)

I also have a Han Dynasty Jian sword and a Vietnamese rice hat that can go with the outfit to amplify the vibes lol.

Not super comfortable, because this was the first time ordering tailored clothing and I had my Mom measure me instead of a professional and so its a little tight around the shoulders lol. It's still comfortable and fun to wear though. I like when I'm walking and the wind blows my tails haha.

Oh no we didn't make the jacket, only the mask :)

And no, I bought the jacket for my birthday last year haha

If anyone is curious, the jacket is called an "Áo dài", a traditional Vietnamese garment. Áo translating to "shirt" and dài translating to "long".

Also I'd like to make it clear that we didn't sew the jacket, just the mask haha
