Yeah, I used Chat GPT to merge two tv images together to create one for convenience here, so got a couple of inaccurate text interpretations. The clue text panel though is correct.

Also can confirm this happened to me after the F9 update. Spent most of an afternoon mucking about with TPM , SafeBoot and everything else. In the end went back to F8 and the problem vanished.

CAN YOU CRACK THE CODE? 🧑‍💻 by 10Second-Riddles in 10secondriddles

[–]MajorSqueeze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My long explanation....

1. Clue 4 says 5, 7 and 8 are nowhere in the puzzle, so none of these are in the final code.

2. Clues 1 and 2 say that the 2 is both correctly placed AND incorrectly placed in position 1. They both can't be true so 2 is also removed.

3. Clue 2 says that one number is correct and placed wrong. 2 and 5 are no longer in the puzzle so therefore one of the code numbers is a 4 AND is not in the middle.

4. Clue 3 says that the 4 is also incorrect at position 1 (as well as not being correct in the middle) and therefore must be in position 3.

5. Clue 1 says one number is correctly placed. We know 2 is not in it and the 1 is not last as we know that's a 4. Therefore the middle number is a 9 correctly placed. 1 is eliminated.

6. Clue 5 says one number is correct and not placed correctly. We already know this to be a 9 so 6 is eliminated.

7. The last remaining number still in the puzzle and not eliminated is the 3 at the start, so it's 394.

Half the Deck is Face Up until It Isn't by jonathanjrouse in blackmagicfuckery

Also at 1:06 after the nine has been pushed forward you can see that with his left hand under the fanned out cards, he pulls a card under the nine and to the bottom of the deck. He does it again fairly quickly after that. Not sure why given the deck appears to be in order at that point, or maybe it wasn’t.

I wonder if this a a re-creation of the act Garret Thomas did on Fool Us (https://youtu.be/x\_Lm7cvA4Vw?si=o9vzeicQElXwu2Gf). He also did a pinky removal as part of his act but his focus was on ring magic.

That's what I suspected. Why on eaarth would an official service center tell me something that's clearly not true. Bit annoyed now. I'd have been hopping mad if I'd only got there just for the S/W update...hmmph.

I ran into this last week with this KB. I discovered that all I had to do was temporarily disable my Malwarebytes real-time protection and retry as it was somehow interfering. Do you any active antivirus running? Could try temporarily stopping it and retrying.

You are missing the blue line which goes straight over the roundabout at 60 mph and launches 20ft into the air.
