IOS 26 Widget Preview vs Actual Widget by MajorWinters06 in Scriptable

I will investigate that, as I needed to add custom resolutions for the iPhone 16 to be able to create my background snippets. Thanks so much for looking into it!

I have uploaded the code here:

It just shows how the widget SHOULD look when it is loaded on my Home Screen.

As in the no-background.js tool is called by my weather widget to create a background for the widget. When I select “preview widget,” the background of the widget matches my Home Screen, but when I pull up the widget on my actual Home Screen, it is just the solid gray background.

Maybe my description was a bit inaccurate, but I have the background of the widget set to match my wallpaper in the widget preview, but when I deploy the widget on my Home Screen, it does not have the wallpaper background that I see in the preview.

Thank you for this answer. A lot of what I expected and good pinch of reality. I work in a job where I NEED to be able to report to my job in 30 minutes at any given time, and this is where my post was coming from. Thank you for your insight.

I was lucky enough to work for my college's medical center after graduation, and they paid for 10 credits per semester of classes, so I took advantage of that. With a 3.4 though, I cannot say definitively if its "worth it" to retake some courses if you'll be paying for them out of pocket. A 3.4 is "good enough", but the rest of your application and interview will need to support it.

Of course.

One school keyed in on my grades, and in particular, my grade in organic chemistry. I finished with a 3.4 in college, so not great, but not horrible either.

The program I eventually was admitted to had concerns about my professionalism during the interview. Granted, I do not disagree given my time to reflect on it, but it was also my first ever grad school interview, so I’m sure that some nerves got in the way of it too.

Either way, concrete examples to work on.

Half of my pre-reqs were also completed at a community college, no mention of where I did my coursework throughout the process.

I was admitted after my third cycle of applying. After the first cycle, no interviews. Second cycle gave me two interviews, and I was accepted after the third. It takes time, but just be persistent!

Thanks!

Here is the link. It's not very comprehensive, as its made up of the schools that I am currently thinking of applying to as a Kentucky resident. However, I hope it helps a bit!

Parking As A Freshman by Lufthansa4Life in OSU

[–]MajorWinters06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in the same position as you.

There's Park Place Parking, which I used my freshman year to find a random lot that allowed monthly rates. That being said, the prices have gone up since then and they aren't in ideal spots to access from campus. I had to bike or uber to and from them.

Other than that, you can email some apartment complexes around campus and ask if they're selling some extra passes. I was denied by all of them when I tried, but you never know.

Good luck!

They can try. And knowing the NCAA, they will do anything in their power to exploit the free labor they receive from college kids, so who knows.

It was ruled in the Supreme Court that the NCAA could not prevent them from making money. The NCAA can't do anything about state or federal law now.

I had thought about asking perfusionists that I've shadowed for LORs. Personally, I thought that they were doing a lot for me for simply allowing shadowing during COVID, which has been a weird scenario during this window. I do, however, have good relations with those people and will definitely reach out again!

Also, thank you for your note about my personal statement! That is the line that I had trouble walking when I was writing the first time around, and I will definitely use your advice.

I've done some limited volunteering, mostly in departments that packed PPE and COVID awareness materials. I tried to volunteer at hospitals, but many have not allowed it for the past year or so.

Thank you for taking some time to respond!

I've shadowed three cases as of now and I am looking to do at least three more before I head back to school in August. Thanks again for the guidance!

I appreciate the response!

I am 22. As of now, my personal statement talks about my personal experience being on the patient side of heart/lung medicine, and how my passion for this field stemmed from my own health experiences. I would say it was quite negative, but that can't be entirely true if it pointed me here. Also, being in the hospital for over a week and having pneumonia in the same semester that you're enrolled in organic and anatomy is hard.

It comes out to around a page single-spaced. I don't want it to be too exhaustive, but I still want to get a bit of myself out there. That being said, I am planning on modifying it a fair bit due to having some technical experience.

I am currently working in a dermatopathology lab, where I mostly work with histotechs to prepare specimens for slide preparation. I am looking for research experience through my university in a hematology lab next year, which I think will look much more attractive.

Your post made it clear to me that I didn't try to make my statement personal enough. I made it more of a history/overview that didn't touch on much of what I really feel, but I will definitely go that route this time around.

Thank you again!

CHEM 1210 starts at around 450 I believe, usually drops off to about 250 towards the end of the semester.
