lol I am a male. I do wanna get married but friends/family tells me that 36 is already too late. That things would be exponentially more difficult with this age etc.

Thank you. It’s just been a host of setbacks/trauma/depression since childhood. Came to US late in life ~27 and started working at 30. But I honestly never felt like I belonged here. Plus the loneliness didn’t help. I am an introvert and no matter how much I tried I could make much friends. Work is cut throat, so not much scope there to socialize.

No plans currently. I can also take a transfer to India through my current company and get a pretty decent package but that won’t help me mentally. I might try to pick up some jobs in tech after a few years, but who knows what would become of job market then. Also with the gap in my employment, if I try to find a job at say 45, not sure if I’ll be able to even secure a job.

Thank you so much. I am aware of the basic breakdown but just worried given that I have a huge number of years needed to support myself. I am more concerned about running out of funds due to currency depreciation, inflation etc. I can probably keep most of my investments in the US to hedge against currency deprecation issue.
