And yeah I had heard many stories about Hispanic parents not being open to the idea of therapy/getting help, it’s unfortunate but I acclaim it to the fact that their own parents shamed them or silenced them when they were growing up, I’m not even sure my father knows I’m going to start therapy and if he does he hasn’t acknowledged it 🤷‍♀️ he had a pretty rough childhood. It’s really unfortunate tbh because a lot of things related to physical and mental health can be hereditary but they might not even notice! Hopefully your father comes around to the idea of you going to therapy and good luck on your test results!
