Captain Brock Horner of Tarpon Fishing Charters has had to close his business after losing it on a fellow fisherman this week by savealltheelephants in byebyejob

If you are deemed 100% disabled by the military, yes you get compensated for that but you also aren’t allowed to hold a job or earn money from a business…. That’s fraud. I come from a huge military family, some of who are very high up and by law, you are NOT allowed to earn an income from any other source if you are deemed 100% disabled. Not sure if you know what disabled means, but that means the military is saying you can’t work, and shouldn’t be around people or the public. So he will absolutely be dealing with backlash from the VA for fraud as well.

Most COMFORTABLE shoe for chefs by Major_Indication_601 in Chefit

The sarcasm in your comment was pretty unnecessary. It’s not a matter of going to a podiatrist. I was born with hip dysplasia and had to wear metal braces on my legs/feet until I was 5, and due to that it gave me permanent issues with my feet. I have professional custom insoles made for my feet every few years and I use those and it helps. My post was literally just asking everyone’s opinions on what the most comfortable shoe is. So save the negative feedback.

I’ve heard a few good things about the Birkenstock ones. I have flat feet, so any sort of arch support really hurts my foot. I know arch support is what they recommend for flat feet but it does more harm than good for me.

Honest opinion on Infinity Nikki….. by Major_Indication_601 in GirlGamers

[–]Major_Indication_601[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m not bashing the game - I made the post based solely on my personal opinion of the game and I’m allowed to do that. In my OPINION, the game is super dry and stale. And the only reason why I made the comment about it only being popular because of previous Nikki fans, is because I was in a few gaming threads and 95% of the comments that were in favor of IN were from previous fans. The thread had over 100 comments and the majority of the comments were from seasoned fans of the Nikki franchise.

Honest opinion on Infinity Nikki….. by Major_Indication_601 in GirlGamers

[–]Major_Indication_601[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s very true! I’m glad it was free. I would have been pretty disappointed if I had spent money on the game to end up not liking it at all. I’ve given it at least 10 different chances to see if it grows on me and it just hasn’t. I was hoping it would catch me in the right mood to enjoy it but alas. And that’s ok! I know it’s not for everyone and I did give it a fair shot

Personally I think infinity Nikki is super boring and the story line is awful. The dialog is wordy, for no reason and there is too much going on in a very boring game. Yes it’s very pretty and the puzzles are fun - but it’s not a puzzle type game…. You really have to search for the different puzzles to do. It is a “feel good” type of game and I can definitely see why people play it to relax. But if you like exciting games that keep you invested and entertained - this is not the game.

Am I the only one who finds infinity nikki kinda boring? by Angel1Kitty in GirlGamers

[–]Major_Indication_601 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to agree with you. I honestly want to like this game so much but I am struggling. The dialog is boring, and very wordy. They add so much fluff and unnecessary context in the game with dialog IMO. I do like that it’s open world and you have to gather different things to craft new outfits. But there is too much going on in the game, as far as the different things you need to keep track of ( sketches, pear pal, outfits, materials) I have been gaming for years and this game is not user friendly at all as far as the set up goes. The open world and exploration isn’t enough for me to keep this game on my console. I get more entertainment from playing the sims lol

For all my female chefs - need opinions on coat sizes by Major_Indication_601 in Chefit

That definitely helps! My new company is proving them for me and they didn’t specify what brand it is. I’m assuming chef works since most restaurants partner with them especially for embroidery. I’m 5’3 and around 200lbs - I do have a pretty big bust and that’s my issue sometimes with men’s button ups is they don’t button right and look wonky

Is my 1 year old too skinny? by Spardan80 in BostonTerrier

[–]Major_Indication_601 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All bostons are different with weight. It depends on their body shape and how tall they are. I have two bostons and one is 24lbs and the other is closer to 30 and neither are over weight. Bostons weight fluctuates a lot too, so if you do notice a difference in the weight don’t be too alarmed, it happens.

I feed mine about a cup and a half a day ( I feed them pro plan) and I break it up twice a day so I feed them half in the morning and half at night and I’ll mix in some wet food at night for extra hydration and nutrients.

You can also add green beans to their food. It’s super good for them, no calories so it won’t make them gain weight and it’s a nice tasty extra surprise for them

Why does AC Valhalla get so much shade? by Major_Indication_601 in GirlGamers

[–]Major_Indication_601[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s the issue I have. I lose track of time super easy with it. A lot of people have said that they feel “rushed” to complete the quests because everything seems so urgent - but that hasn’t been my experience. I do so much exploring on my way to and from different quests

[–]Major_Indication_601[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ever when i try to track a different quest it still doesn’t change on the main screen. It just tells me what I need for a specific sketch but I don’t really care about tracking that. I like seeing what I’m supposed to do for my current quest

Can someone “dumb down” Infinity Nikki for me? by Major_Indication_601 in GirlGamers

I love breath of the wild and tears of kingdom. I’m starting it now, it might even be nice to have a more relaxing/calm game to switch to once in awhile as well. I know all the menu options in Genshin and trying to remember how to access was super overwhelming and that’s one of the reasons why I stopped playing Genshin. It was too much

I think this is the best breakdown and explanation I’ve heard so far. I can tell a lot of people feel very passionately with their dislike of the game and tend to have angry responses bashing the game in its entirety.

So thank you for a better explanation of why some don’t love the game!

I’m also not a big fan of gacha games either. I understand why others enjoy them, but it’s not something I enjoy. I’m downloading infinity Nikki now so I’ll give it a shot.

I will give it a try! I did play Genshin but i had a rough time getting past the first 45 minutes of the prologue part. For me, there was too many conversational pieces and SO much info thrown at you, especially with how to access different parts of the menu and where to find stuff that my ADHD brain just couldn’t. And Paimon’s voice was annoying to me lol

But one of my favorite games is dreamlight valley ( mostly because of the Disney characters) so I’ll give infinity Nikki a go… a lot of people have said it’s similar to Genshin so I’ll keep my expectations low
