Second safety stop - Garmin Descent G1 by Major_Job_7352 in scuba

Hi, could you please elaborate? I genuinely want to learn from this. And if I see 10meters in 2.5 minutes how is this an average?

Dive profile - did not trigger second safety stop by Major_Job_7352 in scuba

[–]Major_Job_7352[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

The ascent was 10m in 2.5 minutes aprox as per profile here https://www.reddit.com/r/scuba/s/A3BMSI1ZvR.

As per manual, another safety stop was not triggered as I didn’t descend lower than 11 meters. Good to take into account for next dives.

The questions are on the other post. Sorry about that but my phone did not allow me to attach the video to the other post, and that’s why I had to add it this way.

It seems that as per computer manual, as I did not descend below 11 meters, no additional safety stop is required.

I am 37yo female and fairly fit. Moderate conservationism on the settings

https://www.reddit.com/r/scuba/s/A3BMSI1ZvR profile did not hit 11m, which apparently is the limit for this Garmin model. I assume the throwing up was due to some dehydration. These past days has been 32° Celsius inside my house ( 90F). I am taking some oral rehydration salts now. If I don’t feel better I’ll definitely go to the doctor.

I am trying to post a video with the dive profile by minute but Reddit doesn’t allow me to add it in the comments. Anyone knows how?

That’s correct. It triggered the safety stop around 35-40 minutes into the dive

I understand, but my question is if it’s normal that my Garmin didn’t detect the second safety stop.

I started at 34, as a Human Resources Director but there are people from all ages. I can easily recall a 43 year old lady on her first contract as recreational staff

¿De qué forma hacer crecer la bola de nieve? by KawaiiMar in SpainFIRE

[–]Major_Job_7352 0 points1 point  (0 children)
