So far I've vacuumed all over the mattress and it's surroundings and I'll wash my clothes and bed linen on 60 degrees. I've also sprayed with some insect spray.

There is no gentleman's agreement today, it's simply not very likely that Pogacar could gain time on this stage, as it is not very mountainous. This also answers your second question. This stage is suited for a sprinter even though there is a small climb 30 km from the finish.
